Hello

First of all, I don't really smoke anymore. I used to smoke about 20 years ago, but quit. I have recently engaged in a serious relationship with a chronic smoker (every day, a bowl or two every few hours), and I thought I would try it again, but doing so just reminded me of why I quit in the first place.

So I guess I'm on this forum looking for advice on how a non-user can have a relationship with someone that smokes all the time.

Well it sounds like the relationship is still new. Give it about 3 or 4 years and you will instinctively be able to turn her off. I mean she will be talking away and you won't hear a word she says. Seriously. Thats just how it worlds.

LOL, the talking doesn't really bother me, although the laughing at everything sometimes does. The goal is not to shut her out though.
