plant looks pretty dark green, and the tips look fried. you sure your not having nitrogen burn? usually lack of N makes a pale yellow plant not a blackish green plant.

Yeh the leaves are quite dark and the Upper leaves are starting to get brown tips, I'm not sure, you think I should hold of on all nutes and see how she turns out?

well you haven't given a lot of details like what your soil is, and how much you've been feeding how often at what ppm so its hard to say. buuuuut the more common mistake than under feeding is over feeding and that girl doesn't look underfed to me.

I think shes just doing her thing...she didnt get enough nutes stored for flower cycle...so shes cannabalizing already. Looks like you have 4-6wks to go so its cool. Stick to a reg feeding schedule with proper ph'ed water. should be fine till harvest. Wait till those leaves get real wilty before taking them off, let her use whats left in them.GL

Soil - biobizz all mix
Ph - 6.5
Light - 150w hps
Nutes used (veg) - none except soil nutes
Fed her twice in flower both times grow nutes as I believed her to be n deficient this was after she started to go pale.
She's also in a 1.5 gal pot

The top fan leaves also have brown tips just don't want her to get worse than she already is, help would be great as this is my first grow

@ramborfc For a first time grow not bad at all. Your going to have to give us PPM levels for the run off. What ppm levels for your solution. I like the pH of soil down to 6.1-6.3.
What is NPK for bio bizz all mix. You might be OD your plant. Your soil is probably still enrich with nutes. Then you add nutes on top of it. Without knowing the PPMs. Its best you get TDS or PPM pen.

I go simple and easy, totally organic. Alaskan fish emulsion (5-1-1) for entire veg & mostly through flowering. I discontinue the emulsion about 3 wks before harvest. It keeps my plants nice n green, throughout the entire cycle and the ganja just LOVES it. I finish with earth juice bloom (forget the N-P-K) and flush well at the end. All my plants are grown in home-made rich, old compost teeming with microbes. I may mix in some perlite to increase aeration /water retention. :bigjoint:

I agree, flowering yellowing is normal....ish. Your plant is small. The full dose of the nutrients are for a plant that is under a 1000 w hps bulb and probably five times the size of your plant. So take into account that you have a little plant and small light and adjust the ppm or strength accordingly. Also some of the nutrient feed tables are for soiless which requires constant feeding. Your in soil which reqires lower than max ppms regardless and at a frequency of about feeding every third or second watering. Some food for thought.

I agree with Alienwidow. Soil retains more nutrients compare to other methods of growing. Soil is like sponge where it absorbs all the elements. Its best to go half strength or less.

Organic grows are nice and very clean taste compare to synthetics. Although I am not sure beginners will be able to use organics properly. Organics continue to break down over time which can end up ODing the plant.

What do you mean ppm levels I always thought that had to do with hydro :???:

My baby lower leaves are starting to look limp so I'm now suspecting n toxicity and high up ones are getting more burned on the tips so I'm going to lay off the nutes for now and if she doesn't improve I'll flush her. Also she's showing a bit of claw, bit of an annoyance but it's daunting being a noob
What's everyone's opinions?
