light dep questions

Swims mothers got a light mite infestation..... its about time for them to start new mothers anyways. Was curious about starting light dep currenetly in nor cal. plants will most likely be kept in the garge at night wasnt sure if i could just throw some lights over them insde at the end of the day so they could get a full 12 hours of light. Anyone have expirrence on early light dep.... any input would help and be aprreciated

you don't really need a full 12hrs to grow flowers. If you put them out now, they will flower naturally. Good luck

coming back with another question.... any inexspensive ideas to keep them warm? the idea of taking them in and out each night/morning is a bit daunting.

haha ive been reading a shitload of threads you pop in and out of.... youve already had me thinking car port. just throw some plastic over it? the plants would be in the north valley close to the foothills. do you think the colds something i need to worry about this time of year?

Yeah essentially, you can buy greenhouse tarp kits for a carport frame, but some clear plastic works too...unless we get a real cold snap, you won't need to add heat, the greenhouse will do.

Might go with the mats. Recently found out our friend in Sacramento is almost out of medicine so I think all the plants will be gifted to him. he's not physically able to build a green house and I wouldn't have time for about another two weeks. Should we keep the plants untill something is built. Or are the sacrameto nights forgiving enough?

I've been apart of some wonderful gardens that only a few people have seen. I always want to post pictures I just wouldn't want to put myself or anyone elses best interests in jeopardy
