Ok I'm in nor Cali bay area and we get winter that is more so a spring compared to everyone else. So I was thinking of throwing so autos outside more so Durban autos. Will I be able to do this year round out here or does it get to cold to try it . It's almost spring now so if I threw some outside will I get anything or would I be better off dropping them when it warms up..thanks for your help

Someone else can probably answer better than me, but I also live in the Bay Area, and my feelings are that it is too cold outside for seedlings but that established plants should be fine, so my advice would be to start them indoors if at all possible, til they get big enough that the cold will just make them go a bit purply in the stems and not outright kill them. I have a couple bagseed photos that I currently have inside on 20/4 that I am going to see if I can get to flower outdoors. Even tho the days are getting longer, I think the dramatic drop from 20/4 will be enough to get them to bloom. I had been thinking about the cold because our last frost is technically sometime in march, but it usually stays above 40 at night never really gets below 30 so I think fully vegged plants will be fine if it dips down there. So my advice to you would be, temperature wise, you'll be fine as long as you start them indoors. One not of advice though, and mind you it could be wrong since I've never grown autos before (I currently have two going, but I've not finished a grow with them), but you may be looking at a pretty heavy yield reduction flowering autos outdoors with less than 12 hours of light, AFAIK they like longer hours. But I could be totally wrong, I'm sure others will chime in.

I've seen autos growing in Siberian Desert at -44 Celsius(fucking cold in Fahrenheit) ...but its the Durban Poison aspect that concerns me, a large chunk of DP is Sativa, and will delay harvest compared to an indica brother, germ and give them 2 weeks inside then to a cold frame(under glass) easing them out into the wilds of bay area in 4-5 weeks, is what I'd do

I currently don't have any autos. I was just asking...my plan is to take one of my fem blueberry headband and try to get seeds...I got some of that spray off eBay. When I get the seeds I put a few outside just to see what's happens

oh hell yeah bro, I live in norcal as well and like ACE said best to veg indoors to get max height and create a nice structure to build your buddage on and after 30-40 days you can leave them outdoors. a lot less pests early in the season ( i start around february in hoophouses) and get pretty nice buds just a little airier than if grown in peak summer conditions.
if at all possible keep them indoors as long as possible then dont forget to harden them off and if you can bringing them inside at night will also greatly improve bud quality and yield.

and if you can provide supplemental lighting at night and that spring/winter sun during the day you should be looking all right bruthah,

I was asking
I just want yo have something going inside and out...and I can't drop beans outside until the end of summer or they would get too big for me. I live in an apartment...........so avoiding winter when is the best time for me to department autos outside. And will they hermie with light leaks

autos can go outside whenever, ruderalis has adapted to extremely cold and inhospitable conditions so they can handle a lot.
no they shouldnt hermi at all unless they are hermi prone genetics and in that case pH swings and temp fluctuations will give you the greatest chance of those undesirable he/she plants popping up in my experiences

naw they can go 12 hours one day then 12 dark then 24 hours light then 3 hours dark then 2 days light, doesnt matter just make sure all your growing paramaters are straight.
oh and more light also equals more water so remember that

Yeah I might get some sooner then later... I just really don't want to do too much in my house so putting a good 4 out on the balcony would help alot
