That's my point. There wouldn't be 10 million without a lake.

Do you remember the Alewife, a horrible little smelt-like fish that died in droves on the beach in the 70s?. I remember having to jump over the dead fish belt as a kid. Sometimes you would have to walk for a while before it was fordable. That was after the St Lawrence was opened and the lakes were out of whack. They put salmon in to keep the numbers down. Don't see much smelt fishing these days, I think the rats killed em all.
Our family went to Niagara in '71. Oh my god the smell of the water. It was unnatural - a cloying chemical sweetness.

i have no idea what ciggi cellos are!

and yes, lo tech on purpose. decided not to buy a tiller this year, just gonna get in shape by using 18th century agricultural techniques!
Oh, excuse me. Cigarette cellophanes. Not being critical, just thought it was funny and I was stoned on your cured buds.

I always like fresh flowers over "cured for long time" or bagged up, whatever. Fresh unmolested is best.
when i was in hawaii, the stuff i got must have been super fresh. some guy driving around in a pickup truck around the touristy part of kona picked me off from a mile away, drove right up to me and asked if i was looking for nug.

what a model citizen he was.
