One of colorado's regulations is they have to track each plant with their $125 device…. Not sure on the exact details, but I believe it was $125 each plant each time.

The mmj legal field is a joke... many places need millions in bank to prove they can sustain a lose of crop ect. Then 200k for year liscence and 25k non refundable app fee..

Honestly, how can someone justify all the fees? Possibly cause people who pay have some political friends who have hands in the jar and usually will pay fees with money which doesnt belong to them.

Get a medical card and grow your own. Sadly, if you want to profit in the buiseness then you have torisk everything you own and grow for a dispensary ans then sell to.dispnsary for a check which then pays tax which is fed crime.

After political people ride the wave of legalization hype and sales slow down assume that cigarette companies will take over with cheap garbage pesticide filled weed. Not meds...

Then finally they may offer you a store.opportunity if your willing to risk your lifes savings against a well established and oiled system.

On a side note, theres a million ways to profit if your willing to take the risk. My personal view is that the risk shouldnt exist when your illing to pay the tax
Yes I agree! Are those what the fees are in Colorado? Isn't there a way to get insurance for a lose of crop? I totally agree with if you pay taxes then you shouldn't have to risk anything!

Open a hydroponics store. They're banking. Lol
Just like the gold rush. The only folks who got rich were the ones selling picks and shovels.

hydro store is 100% the best route these days. Unless you're black market til you D.I.E. :fire:

I'm of the theory that no matter what happens, HIGH QUALITY cannabis will always have a demand.

I'm in the (long) process of opening a "bed, bud and breakfast" in a very popular tourist destination. I never imagined the hoops I'd have to jump through. And how much the fucking hoops would cost!!!!:cuss:

CO hires grows every day, but you have to know what you're doing.
Security is the market to be in, x military a plus.

Peace

Australia is a good place to sell =)

Marijuana is a lot "harder" to find compared to other places around the world like America and Canada. Weed is a big hit over here, a lot of people like it and enjoy the benefits of it!

Less dealers=more customers

Answer to your question: Anywhere it is illegal. The harsher the penalty, the more money you can make.

Some thoughts:

I live in an province in Asia where they can legally kill you for possession. Though, specifically here, this has never happened. Best case scenario is that they send you to a rehab center because in their eyes you are a drug addict that needs help, deport you and put you in jail for 7 years to life.

The market here is filled with low grade weed that comes from Canadian expats, Taiwanese wannabe 'gangsters' and your occasional white South African. 1 gram goes for a little over $25.

Many people get caught and forgotten here because they sell weed, import weed (and other drugs) and buy growing equipment.

There are so many people that want to hang you that you should never tell anyone that you grow, ever. You should not sell your weed, ever.

I hate to say it. but this is the stupidest thing I have ever heard
I'm a state licensed grower in Colorado and we use Rfid tags that cost about 50 cents per plant not 125 dollars

The most profitable states to sell are the ones still illegal, not that's its right but definitely the most profitable. Where I live I get 3,600 for my lbs. Try selling your shit in a med or rec state for those prices

I feel that Australia is somewhat the next global mecha to jumb abroad the "CannaBus".
Furthermore then it being a billion dollar industry in a blink of an eye in history terms.
Going legal in Australia would be positive in my oppenion.
Sure its going to eliminate people. but most of the people it will kill are the low quality high turnover product cashcrop producers.

and having a legal market does not mean the black market will stop.

the Australian government will have vast and different rules and regulations in terms to the use and quantity / production allowed per head.

also theres always going to be people they will refuse a mmj card to .... previous offenders ( drug or violence related ).

but in conclusion I think it will be mostly positive.
a more extencive product range.
variety is the spice of life and don't we know it.

Howdy Y'all,

I want to keep this post open ended to the entire cannabis industry… Whether it be places that have good dispensaries and what not to just growing in general.

In most of the states in the US that you can legally grow, it is only for personal use or for your patients if you are caregiver… Now what if you want to make living in the Cannabis Industry? Where is the best places to go that you can live in peace?

Say you are willing to buy a house somewhere and build your own grow… Where is the best/easiest places to do it? Is there anywhere you can actually move to and legally get a real job at a grow without knowing someone?

Any and all thoughts regarding profitability and anything else is greatly appreciated as well! :D

I will add onto my post :leaf:

Since there isn't as many growers and sellers in Australia as there is in other countries, we don't care too much about quality, we care about FAT STICKS (packed baggies).

Marijuana sells it self and basically every dealer in Australia is after money, he knows he will get return customers because he doesn't have any higher quality rivals.

Where I live I have never really seen hydro bud, it's all bush (outdoor) and poor looking small bud. I will get 4 sticks today and update you on what it looks like.
