Lucas formula?

Was thinking of trying the lucas formula and wondered if there would be much difference in using the general hydroponics or advanced nutrients micro and bloom in a dwc grow? there is only a few $ between the 2 so wasnt sure which of the 2 to get.

Ok will just get the general hydroponics stuff and I am adding root excellulator throughout veg pondzyme and liquid silicone throughout the grow but would you suggest adding anything Like superthrive or pk boost or would that just complicate things with a negligible return?

I'm running Lucas formula in my rdwc now. I'm very impressed and love the simplicity. I used AN in my coco/soil grows and was not terribly impressed.

I use GH maxigro & maxibloom in hempy's...they have worked well for me

I would like to try Dyna-Gro sometime in the future

AN is to complex for my stoned brain.

I always seem to have flora from GHE the micro, grow and bloom

but I only really see the micro as being worth the money I mean the other 2 are just pk and some cal/mag

Flora nova I`ve just used the grow but thinking of buying the bloom too

I`d save space for an extra bottle of snake oil, lol

Would using other products like root excellulator or bud candy not be worth using to increase Yield?
it may but there is always the potential of screwing up the entire grow if used incorrectly.

best to stick to basics until you have it dialed in perfectly, then try something new (just my opinion)

I suppose keeping it simple on my first go is best place to start and I am more likely to know what is causing a problem if there is one with just the base nutes rather than having various additives not knowing which is causing problems.

Also Would cannazyme be worth adding to prevent algae or anything building up in the tank or just use micro and bloom and keep it simple?

Hi knowledgeable peeps, I've started researching nutes recently and when the time comes, I'll be sticking with a basic GH regime to find my feet. But is Rock Nutrients' Resinator an additive worth checking out? It seems pricey, but no negative reviews that I've found out there and not seen it discussed anywhere in here.

if you are just starting keep it simple,go with a base nute,go with a silica,go with cal mag,and go with either a bennie bacteria,(myco) or a product such as zone,or a sterile environment with h2o2,the last items mentioned will keep you from, getting bad beasties, such as pythium,
there are lots of products you can try just get the basics ,learn to train your plants and top them, learn to trim your plants, stay away from products with too much nitrogen, lucas is a good basic formula.learn it and go from there,
mke sure environment is dialed in to a T,the most important thing,
good luck

Keep it simple and just use the base nutes, without teh silica, cal-mag, bennie, etc..

The whole point of lucas formula is you only need 2 bottles.

Of course, the green bottle is nice too, or you could replace the green bottle with some potassium nitrate.
