Has anyone had any experience with Barneys Chronic Thunder? It was a freebie from the tude which I will be getting. I'm looking forward to the other barneys strains I'm getting as freebies, but just wanted to make sure this one wasn't one of their junk ones

Great strain. Grew it twice. People(amateurs) will rag on Barneys. Saying their strains are unstable. Granted, Tangerine Dream is definitely the soul product of that statement. Their other strains have been proven to be great - ESPECIALLY - indica dominant. #grapeape

Ahh...nothing. I just have been growing for 5 years and have tried a few strains from their selection and it seems to Work out fine. Grape ape. Vanilla kush. Chronic Thunder...just a few I've done. Sorry you haven't had that kind of luck with them but don't insult me.

Barney's Farm doesnt have legit anything Bluesdad. Everything they put out is a diceroll.
This statement is such bullshit. I have grown 6 strains from BF and the only one that was utter shit was Tangerine Dream. I did 2 runs of Critical Kush and its some of the best stuff I have ever produced. Extremely potent, great smell, and easy to grow (only 8-9 week flower).

Barneys farm are well know on here for being rather hit or miss with their genetics, more miss normally, also out in the real world ive had several friends run BF stuff over the years and generally more complaints than compliments about their gear, the most recent being red cherry berry

weak. low yield.
I agree on the lower yield, but all of that grow was stressed because of bad environment. But weak was not a description accurate for that harvest. Two or three hits alleviated the pain and let me function. Anything over a bowl was a waste of meds, but damn fun : )
To explain... I have a nerve condition which is only relieved by cannabis. I'm a 24/7 user period or I go into a pain cascade, triggering other conditions that ad to the main nerve disorder. So I RARELY feel a high, even with large amounts, or the high is very short lived... But I achieve the relief to function and live my life.
I felt the Tangerine Dream as well as was alleviated from near ALL of the pain. It was strong and (sorry for exaggerating)... A god send, it was a social high, very fun for sex. Anyway... The smoke was smooth as silk, tricones everywhere, even the trim was smooth. It was sweet tasting with multiple layers of flavor... For me, and all who shared in the partaking really enjoyed it. I would estimate the yield to be about 7 ounces. I'll be growing the strain again under good no-strees conditions and see what happens.
I'm not saying it was the strongest strain around but for me, it's in the top three of enjoyment and function.
