Next year the Cannibas Cup is coming to Portland Or. @ some unknown date. I have been wanting to go since 1998 white widow winner. I will give it my best to make it there. It's only about 20 miles from my place.

Wasn't the Cannabis Cup started as an undercover DEA operation to track down Cannabis breeders?

Remind me, how many of these breeders/growers in Cannabis Cups have run into legal issues? They're dropping like flies.

High times mag puts it on. Now that marijuana is legal in Or. (July 2015) It's just a good place for people to get together. If your not legal than I'd worry. The gov Knows that it is a losing battle fighting it. Just watch, they will be collecting taxes before long.

That's my point.

HighTimes was an undercover DEA operation to track the leading breeders in the industry and is a corporate shill company to this day. High Times was founded by undercover DEA operatives posing as cannabis enthusiast.

A lot of shady characters rumored to be DEA informants were involved in the conception of the Cannabis Cup. Why do you think the DEA has never once in 40 years shown up at HIgh Times HQ and questioned their employees about their open and well documented connections to illegal narcotics producers? They could show up at HT HQ today and charge every reporter who works for that company with obstruction of justice for obstructing a federal investigation by refusing to share information about illegal growers they're investigating.

There's a reason High Times is allowed to operate.

That was in the 80's when it started. DEA was every where looking for anything. Like I said if your legal don't worry because they are probably watching us right now. Believe me times have changed.
