Yah, and Canada is catching heat for pasting a Canada logo onto a picture of the Canada Arm2 in action.

The version of the photo posted on federal government websites feature the logo on a part of the arm where such a logo doesn't exist on NASA versions of the photo. The Canadian Space Agency credits the photo to Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, who has never flown in space. (Canadian Space Agency Tumblr blog)

Thanks Harperbola!

Yeah because NASA has never lost a vehicle or an astronaut.
they have decades of mistakes and learning curve to take from and this shit happens?

the public sector is so far kicking the private sector's ass in space exploration.

This is Virgin Group. There are several other companies like SpaceX who are more competent. But your solution is just assume government does it better, so fuck SpaceX too.

Sit, no sit, down. Good puppy!

Space exploration? The only manned space exploration NASA ever did was land on the moon 6 times. Branson is selling rides, not exploring space. NASA is still king by a long shot.

This was a flight test of a new rocket engine. Shit happens. That's why they do flight tests with new technology.

Besides, it's not like NASA ever mastered it. A trip to space in our time is the single riskiest and most amazing flight you could possibly make. My dreams of being an astronaut ended when I grew too tall for NASA's space suits. =(

How many engineers does virgin group have in comparison to NASA?

I didnt think of it

The Canada kit contains a T-shirt, flag pin (top right), patch and window decal (lower right). A quick reference guide titled "How to Speak Canadian, Eh?" is also thrown in.

It doesn't have to be manned to be exploration.

Putting a man in the vehicle adds infinite qualities to be sure, but it also increases the cost and complexity.

IMO sending robots throughout the solar system is better than sending a man to mars.
