Tangilope Hydro Grow

Lol nice dog and scrog bro:bigjoint: - scrogging is definitely a nice way to get a even canopy, I've only scrogged twice. My last grow was a scrog if you want to checkout the grow journal iit's here >>https://www.rollitup.org/t/larry-og-agent-orange-rdwc-scrog.829805/ you're right on about it being much easier to trim! That's the best feature of a scrog, but it can definitely be labor intensive. I may scrog this round but not sure yet, I'm just going to go with the flow on how the plants grow. I did 6 plants last grow and it got to be quite the jungle in there bongsmilie

The grow room is complete. Just waiting for my order of Ait Spider air stones to get here in the mail. Should be Wednesday and then everything will be put into the tent.

Nice, why don't you link those buckets up, put in one more Bucket, that way you only have one thing to check on.... look up ecoplus 1" bulkhead......

I can imagine that's a bitch when they get big

That's a good idea slimjim! The back 6 are ebb n grow, but the front 6 are dwc, I didn't know there was a way to have a central top off bucket with out doing rdwc? I'll look into it though! That would be alot easier filling up a central res outside the tent for sure

I could be wrong about linking them... I don't really know but it seems like it would be the same thing with just the ease of one bucket... I suppose that could also mean if shit his the fan it could with everything...

Right now I'm having a bit ofa slime issue in veg in my rdwc, just put in new tea and see a bunch of new root growth but still a fair amount of slime. I posted already but my tea doesn't have much foam to it, I'm pretty sure I'm doing everything right so hopefully it's good...

I'm excited to run the current culture line I have on order, seems like steril is easier if the uc roots works like it's supposed to

Tangilope 1 week veg under HID. The ttangilope are the two biggest plants in the middle. One or two more weeks tops of Veg then flowering will be initiated.

Looking good.
Before it's too late.... consider rearranging the plants so the smaller ones are in the middle and the taller ones are on the outside. It's easier to move them now rather than later. Plants looks healthy. Keep it up.

Thanks man, and will do. I've been meaning to move them but I had a fitting break on a ebb bucket (the smaller buckets are ebb and Flow and the big ones are dwc) so waiting for it to come in the mail. It's such a pain to rearrange the ebb buckets so I figure I'll do it when I hook up the rest of the buckets Friday. I'm kind of leaning towards putting everything in the ebb system except the tangilope because they are all on the same nutrient schedule, except the tangilope are extremely heavy feeders so I'll have to keep them separate. I have a feeling the tangilope will be impressive, such a vigorous plant considering the seed began as a mutant with fused leaves and nodes.

Lookin good! My flowers killing it I'll post a pic later but my veg is slimming up slowing shit down, it's turning around with new root growth but can't be good for the plant ha.... I'm gonna kick some subculture b I got as a sample in tomorrow and can't wait for the cultured solutions nutrients I ordered to come in... thinking sterile is going to be easier than brewing tea non stop...

Or so i hope, but they sell the Ferrari of rdwc so I'm assuming they have good fuel to get it going... I really hope I like this shit, all together I ordered
5 gallons veg
5 gallons flower
2.5 gallons uc roots
2.5 gallons mid flower booster

I'm kinda stick with it with 15 gallons ha

Oh and I just threw another tangilope in flower (she's soil though... the last of it)
.... irrelevant ramble to get to that ha

No doubt slimjim, can't wait to see a pic of your flower. That sucks the veg is going a little slow but I'm sure it'll come around soon. The tangilope is a crazy bushy plant, I think it's a keeper for a while (if the Buds are as good as she looks). Did you save a cut of yours or just flowering it out and done with it? Here's a better pic of mine, just did a res change and got the ec at 1.3 and she's still hungry, definitely a heavy feeder and very fast grower.

I saved her, cuts are rooted in the clone king... thing rocks, I have 2 so i can always have some going while I shut one down to sterilize.

The cuts took a while to root though, maybe because i was lazy and used no clone gel but i haven't used any in a while and they all take.

Veg is turning around with some explosive root growth and the slime is going away but this is what happened last time, then i changed the res and it came back... so here's to hoping were good...

Mixing up need and the blue lab ph probe died so i had to run out and grab another... levels were all good but hopefully it wasn't giving me faulty feedings the last few times.... another high buzzed ramble ha.

Crazy how much better the hydro plants look compared to the soil, so much healthier and vibrant

I do the buzzed rambles a lot too lmao. awesome that the veg plants are doing better and great you got some cuts of the tangilope. That sucks the blue lab pen died, those are great meters.

Tangilope seems to love dwc, it loves a higher nute range than anything else i've grown, at least for a while. Anything less than 1.3 ec and she starts to lighten up on the leaves. I just love the way this plant grows, i can't imagine how big the buds are gonna be because theres tops all over the place 8-)

Looks good. When you cut back to 12-hours you should lollipop the bush and remove ALL the lower growth. If you do it right you will get a canopy of colas up top and nothing down below.

Thanks, I'll be doing some trimming for sure. I'll been plucking leaves for a few days now, there's so many of them and some are extremely big for indoor leaves. This strain grows rapidly :p I really want to scrog them but just wont be possible since they are dwc, so if worst comes to worst, I have some bamboo sticks that i can modify into the dwc lid.

Not much stretch so far, 10 days into flower and the tangilope have not stretched much at all. Late bloomers I assume? They are drinking A LOT of water as I noticed the ppm rising quite a bit so I backed off the nutes from 1.5 to 1.3ec. They are not burned or deficient in any way so I find it odd. A lightish green (guessing it's genetic?) Hopefully the lower EC will get them to kick in to gear and start flowering. If not, well I guess I have a small 80% sativa plant, which would be awesome. I'll see what happens over the next 10 days and hopefully it's good stuff.
