How long is trim good for?

Hey crew! I have a freezer full of trim, dating back to 2010-2011. I am wondering if I can still process this old trim into hash? It was dried then put into the freezer. Do you guys think its still good?

:-? I froze my sugar leaves fresh from the plant and wonder if I can decarboxylate them before making coconut oil.

I would make butter or tincture from it… for hash follow the rule, good in good out, I only use freshly cured trim for that, I just made some dank ass butter out of 2 year old freezer trim.

Yes here is a quick break down of the process I use (you can find details description of the same or very similar process online)

Take a plastic container with lid fill it to about 1/2" from top with water, pour into pan (I use 3gal metal pot)

Dump in a lb of butter (this again is how i do it)

bring to boil, butter will have melted by now, don't forget to stir regularly

pour in grinded material, I use a cuisinart small food processor, the Ninja works great too

remove from heat after 15 minutes, bring down to about 130 degrees and put on low temp on oven

simmer 24-48 hours

strain into original plastic obtainer, place lid on it and put in fridge, next day you'll have butter

Thank you so much. I finally got it through my thick head. :dunce: Now I am happy to know I did not ruin my trim. I want to use coconut oil instead of butter but I understand . Tonight I'm just gonna hit the kerbong bongsmilie and chill. Tomorrow I will start a batch of cannacocobutter. I'm excited to see how it tastes when I cook with it. Thank you! :peace:

so I did make my cannabis infused coconut oil with a cup of oil and an oz of green trim. That way there is a way to get a sort of measurement so I don't overdo it.
Came out great, but my mistake was I bought Lou Anna Coconut oil Not the best choice if you are using this for healing. Need to use refined coconut oil. I am waiting on my UPS delivery for the right coconut oil this time. If this crappy stuff tasted good I can't wait to taste the unrefined kind. I'm excited...checking out some new glass bongsmilie
