W100 vs RW75?

Hey guys, Im already running 2 rw75s in a 2x4 space, I need more lighting to fill this space properly and was tossing up between an rw150 or rw75.

I went to purchase the 75 after settling 225w was sufficient for the space then noticed they(area 51) are releasing a 100w xgs and thought that would be perfect.

Does the added wattage of the W100 compete with the mixed spectrum of the rw75?

I dig multi spectra gardens, some of the wildest colors hot or cold. The rw# anything is going to kick out fatty buds, but IMO too much red for veg, guys are killing it seed to harvest under the xgs though. Just .02

Cheers

RW's have a switch to turn the reds off and run less wattage for veg...SGS even had that. And technically the XGS does too...it just turns off whites instead of reds since it doesn't have any. All the same chassis and design basically.

may as well just get a third rw75 then, after shipping it over here its gonna cost 285. Almost expense enough to go DIY cob but something keeps holding me back from taking the plunge

You could do a COB that's semi-equivalent to the RW for under $100. Although if you don't have the start-up tools, you may find yourself spending ~$150. It may not look as perdy as the fancy RW75 but power is what were all, as power-hungry savages, striving for.

Question for the wizards, do those models that Drin King mentioned use high quality bin chips or average?
