Ice Water Hash

When it comes to extracts I like to try to preserve the glandular trichome head as much as possible, so for me ice water hash and dry sift are kings in my world. With that being said lets take a trip down memory lane with some ice water hash I made. Its going to take me a while to upload all my pics but here are some of my favorites. This is heaven mountain from bodhi seeds, this pheno was gifted to me by a friend and was labeled muff cabbage. Going to upload a lot of muff cabbage as she is stupid photogenic and i dont know which ones to edit out, Hope you enjoy!IMG-20140629-02511.jpg IMG-20140629-02509.jpg IMG-20140627-02443.jpg

is this bubble hash?
can u explain your process?
yep its bubble hash, its pretty much the same process as bubblemans or matt rize method, after your wash make sure to strain or ,microplane your hash over parchment and let it dry so it wont oxidize and turn dark in color. As long as you have good input material the main thing is proper drying, everything else is pretty much the same, use a pump sprayer to wash your hash inside each bag to get rid of any green tinge and try to work in a cold room. Full melt is really decided in the grow room, not by the hash maker. They way I look at it is the hash maker is doing nothing more then the growers laundry in a sense. Bubbleman and matt rize have great youtube video tutorials I would say to watch for a nice in depth look at the process. Nothing I do really is different from what they are doing.

Thanks for the kind words! A lot of the bubble hash will become like a shatter, if left to cured (which is rare in my case lol) it turns into something like a rock candy, like a jolly rancher or something. Once all the granular bubble is put into a container, if its not kept in a cold storage all the granular pieces will melt into one glob. As long as your able to pull all the water out of the hash and dry it properly the shatter effect is not that hard to obtain. The hardest thing to obtain is high quality input material. The really shiny pics are from muff cabbage, even as nuggets this girl is stupid greasy. Just the feel the bud has is very unique. I called the dry sift and bubble she produced reflector hash if it hit a light source. Bring a slab into the sunlight and it seems to trap light and reflect it back at you lol. Wish I had a better camera, these are all taken on a old brick blackberry lol. Microplane is just a brand of grater. I prefer the straining method the best personally. Just use a spoon to push your hash thru the strainer to break it up over parchment, also try to keep the hash from piling up on itself, the more surface area you give it to dry the better. The second to last pic is what you want to try to make it look like while drying before collection. more surface area the better!!
