need advice on cooling my grow tent

get a stand up fan a big one that adjusts height like this

https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/6024437454766263007?q=stand+up+fan&espv=2&biw=1024&bih=667&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.77880786,d.ZGU&ion=1&tch=1&ech=1&psi=jhxKVIf7Dabe7AaM3oHYCA.1414143117619.5&ei=khxKVITyLqOR7AaJ9YGQAQ&ved=0CKEBEKYrMAE

then have it blowing directly on to your HPS light as long as the light is on...
then put a osculating fan in the corner above your canopy and another underneath oposite corner

i have a 6x6 tent with a passive intake and i manage to keep my temps around 78 degrees like this also im running a 1100 watt light super lumen digital ballast

can you not leave your tent open? and what are your temps inside now if you do what i say with the fam it works the same way as a cool tube m8......

Living in auzzie and growing in a tent......ur fucked. Need to air-con that room or tent before summer hits. You could insulate that tent with rigid polystyrene sheets to help the cooler air inside from the ac unit also.

You do grow with lights on during the night also?

I can grow at night with temps onlow 27 ddegrees Celsius 80 degrees ferenhite so will that be ok?
If night time provides cool air for your intake growing at night is a good idea.. But if your plants are already goin then switching from day to night might not be a good idea unless your ready to flower

You can switch the off time one hour ahead and the light on the next day one hour earlier. But I'd go backwards. Take one hour away from each until it's running at night. Takes 12 days. I've done it with no problem except I'm ADD and would look in the room in the morning and the light was off and the sun was up and it confused me,.... Only took two more weeks to get used to it.... Lol. Good luck. Another way is to get a Super Spreader. Install like they show. Those make the lumens more even and act like a heat sink and remove more heat. Like they do on stereos.

Thanks bro what's a super spreader
Look it up. It goes under your light and puts that hot spot back up into the hood and reflected down way more evenly so all plants grow the same and no moving plants because they get bigger then others. The side effect is aluminum dissipates heat. It's why they use it to make amps. Get rid of heat without it having to go anyplace else. It goes away.... Throw a fan on it an even better. And don't ask why others don't use them. I'm ADD and OCD. I test everything.
