im doing 3 gallon pots with and would like to get advice on autos. Ive personally ran 1 auto strain, Cream of the CRop "CASH CROP" which was a NLxBB cross. It did well and i was impressed. However Im coming to this side of the forum in regards to experienced individuals. What strains have good bud formations, STABLE GENETICS, POWERFUL smoke.IM looking at Dinafem CRITICAL JACK AUTO, maybe ill give CASH CROP ANOTHER GO , and im looking for some Sour Diesel and other powerful crosses . Throw me your ideas. IF its good id like to just get inbetween a 1/2 to and OUNCE per each one . im not looking for the HEAVY HITTERS just want the good smoke that can produce at least a 1/2 oz with sufficient lighting. Thanks for your time .

Here you go. I've only grown 3 different strains of autos: Nirvana Northern lights, Paradise seeds auto Wappa and Dinafem white widow auto. The northern lights yielded the best. Over two ounces easy but the least potent if the three. The wappa yielded about an ounce and was pretty good smoke. The we yielded about an ounce and was the most potent of them all. A friend commented it was the best smoke he'd had in 3 years.
And from what iI've heard was Afghan kush Ryder is some of the best Shit out. Also heard mi5 and most strains from short stuff is fire. Also look into Dinafem critical amnesia. Good yield and good smoke. For sour d look into Humboldt seed organization. I've heard good thing about them and pyramid seeds autos. Good luck.

Hey Buddy,

Ive never tried auto's before but currently growing 7 of them just now (day 23), Nirvana's NL & Dutch Passion's Durban Poison. I should say that the DP's are growing better...obviously I cant say if the result will be good but from what I know DP is an awsome strain so you might wanna check em out. I also hear the auto Mazar is really good. Good luck

The best autos i grew out were Delicious seeds Il Diavolo and La Diva. Easy to manage (only issue was both were VERY thirsty girls so needed constant drinks!), just over 3oz from the two (under 400w HPS and a couple of cfls around the side), and great smoke. Whichever you choose, good luck and happy growing :peace:

I've had great results with

Dinafem, so far I've done white widow xxl, and their fruit auto (freebies) both have been fantastic. I have critical Jack, Sour Diesel, and Moby Dick also. Moby Dick got Planted 2 weeks ago but the soil was way too wet and I think I'm going to have really small plants as a result.

Barney's farm - their auto blue mammoth came out fantastic :-)

Short stuff - three words, Russian rocket fuel!

Humboldt seeds- Auto Blue Dream, Lost Coast skunk.. haven't played any of these seeds yet but the company has a great reputation and the strains look promising.

Check my other posts for pics! Hope this helps

DinaFems Bubba Kush Auto is my favourite at the moment, good yielder, easy to grow, tastes good after a short cure and knocks your trolley off :eyesmoke:

On average, about 3-4 oz from a 20L airpot, but also depends on LED used. Power output, etc... but id say 4 Oz was a safe figure for a good grow per plant, the most ive had so far is 9 from a 20L airpot but that was Candy Kush from Auto seeds.

I havn't had/seen many results from that seedbank so I cant vouch for their consistency of strains.
But I have seen lots of results from Dinafem Auto seeds on my Forum and have never seen one give awful results nor turn photoperiod.

Very nice . May I ask 4 oz is very good for autos . What's your light schedule set up like ? I was just hoping to get 1 or more of "fire" per plant!

Thanks :bigjoint:

it ranges mate, I have testers growing all sorts of autos under all types of LED setups. Different schedules, soils etc.. but the most liked is 24/0, they finish a lot faster on that schedule but only if the output power is enough.
On that schedule they like 250W+ 'output' to themselves for a better chance at getting that yield in the quickest time.
The more output they can get the better basically.

I just got 92 grams after the hang dry off one of those Auto Seeds Auto Pounder. Good yielder but not real strong. It's still curing so the jury is out. Not a bad smoke by any stretch but not the best I've done either. Going with a Barney Sweet Tooth next.
