The Original cindy 99

I've always wondered, how did the original c99 manage to go from being such a unique and Awsome strain to falling of the map and into legend? And is there any hope of getting hold of any of the original genetics or close to?

There's at least three or four f2-f4 c99 versions for sale from different breeders, but the odds of getting the original bros grimm are very low. I think if anyone had any c99 (or apollo) bros grimm packs available, they would probably auction them off. Plenty of people would pay a fairly pretty penny for an unopened pack of those gems.

There are many C99 hybrids from many seed breeders out there, have not tried it lately.i had C88 back in 95ish.Remember it cost me 150$ for 10 beans.kept a clone of it For awhile.very unique in taste and high.like sugar fruit punch, and a very racy heart pounding high.Good luck

Which would you say is the best version of c99 your can get nowadays then? I've got the female seeds version growing now smells lovely but it's now been 8 weeks and still only like 30-40% amber so atleast another week

Yeah, original packs I'd expect to go for 4 figures.

30-40% amber? It's long finished. You are majorly losing quality waiting as long as you are. Way overripe. Way way way. If you want to fall asleep after you smoke, probably C99 isn't the right plant for you.

Marc emery seeds, that was the price from the Brothers Grimm breeders,.....I did not like the high, made drunk people puke, the taste was great too, weak stemmed plant that was susceptible to mites as well.I had her for few years..

Peak THC levels have been demonstrated in clear trichromes just about to go a little foggy. Me personally, I wait until I see maybe 5% amber on the high end and then chop. All plants are at their max potency in this early window. Effect preference is subjective of course and some prefer a little more sedation from oxidized THC which becomes CBN. But IMO you should chop this before you even reply to this post or read anymore. You have work to do. And you won't regret it.

What everyone else said. Some strains are different, some people's preferences are different, even for different strains.

Amber is degradation. Cloudy is peak, and clear is progressing towards cloudy.
Also remember that changes continue after you harvest.

I try personally for little to zero amber, 70-80% Cloudy.

Aka: Princess 88
Third step to the Cinderella 99 by Mr Soul.
Genetics: Princess x Princess 75

Following Princesses are:
Princess 94 (P.94 / Cinderella 99) = Princess x P.88
Princess 97 (P.97) = Princess x P.94

Up from Princess 97 its stabilized!

I grow a cut of original Apollo 11 which is Princess 75 x C99 so probably really close to the C99, she smells like candy!! Waiting for a fellow grower to pop his Joey Weed Apollo 11 F2's so I can get to work on her.

Any chance off you seeding either of these plants? I'm sure I'm not the only person who would want to buy seeds from that?

I've looked around and messaged the guy from drgreenthumb.com and this is what he says. We have not altered the strain at all; it is original Brothers Grimm
Cindy 99 and is the only REAL, uncrossed C99 available anywhere today. The seeds are a tad expensive tho at $150 for 5 feminised seeds.
