Weed prices

I have to day a few things.

If a patient or friend needs it, I can give it on credit or a hookup when testing strains.

Cannabis is very cheap to grow, with the caveat that you've sunk the capital in equipment, good genetics, time, patience, and getting the learning curve. I did the math, including electricity (capital costs are paid off with first successful grow, but depreciation account is considered in the cost), nutrients (Jacks baby, I don't mess around with nonsense bottles), and miscellaneous electrical expenses, a plant from start to finish will cost around $14-20 including veg time.

You guys have risk, well we all do, even with laws to supposedly protect us, but as my garden is more productive and if there is a bumper harvest, I tend to lower prices as the people I deal with, I care about. They get a price they can't get elsewhere and quality for the dollar.

Eta the price per plant does not include my time obviously. And flushing isn't necessary unless you as a grower fuck up your medium with over fertilization. What you are referring to is an improper dry/cure to cause that effect
A lot of truth. Also take into consideration, many licensed growers give certain patients free due to the types of illness.
Little Johnny with athletes foot has to make up the difference.

I'm in TN,kind bud is 20 a gram,no ??
You have bigger balls than me. If I were in TN not sure I would say so, yet. Imagine legalization is coming soon with Cohen working hard on it, but not yet. Also saw this morning, MS is wanting to put a legalization vote on the ballot.

Im on the east coast. Last time I bought weed (i cant even remember how long ago) it was $20 gram, $50 eigth and $300 a zip.

I hook up only close friends and family. A $200 donation is expected for a zip ;)

Well I don't do hydro, and I'm sure changing out reservoirs is important. What people think is "chemicals" in the end is a poor dry/cure or a grower using foliar spray.
I agree with you on this but I also flush for a week before chop. My opinion, based on my experience, has been that drying/curing contributes to the end product considerably. I also hear a lot about how a cure is not necessary and also flushing is not necessary. It might be in my head but 1 week flush and a 4-6 week cure is important to me.

You should include your time when considering cost, but yeah, otherwise this about sums it up.

Im an outdoor grower , and i had a shitty season so im stuck with buying throughout winter. Usually i get My Quarter OZ's for $70-80 and my halfs for $140-145 its some pretty decent danks. However i have a new guy that im going through. Its some home grown and its some bomb chronic. you can clearly tell the difference between my other bud and this bud in taste, smell, appearance and pretty much every other aspect. But the price is definitely much higher. Im being charged $90 for a quarter OZ,$175 for a half and $350 for an ounce. I live in upstate New York. do these prices seem reasonable for some high grade chronic or is it a bit outrageous just curious .... thank you.bongsmilie
idk but to me thest INSANE!! i get top shelf medical like super high quality, skywalker, agent orange, pineapple exp, GDP, white rhino, blueberry, nothern lights... all of it and its grown to maxium ( well you know what i mean ) 200 all the way up and down 25 - 1/8 50 - 1/4 .... but maybe thats just maine .... i will say we have some of the best growers ;)

It may cost 14-20 dollars to grow a plant from start to finish but how much do you value your time.

If you have other people trim it for free than hey more power to you, but if I sit down and trim it myself I expect 25 bucks an hour.

^Yep I was thinking that myself. Wow, he isn't even charging minimum wage for the hours spent. Of course I love the hours spent but if we are breaking down costs, you charge for your time and would be applied to the end product cost.

This isn't an ez bake oven, you can't just set it and forget it. You know what I mean brother :D.

If I didn't have to spend my own time tending the garden then hell yeah you can have yourself a bunch of nuggets for free. But the second you take time from my life and bud from my jar I need some sort of compensation otherwise your taking food off my familys plate. The reason I say that is because my time could be better used at work than tending a charity garden. That is what we have subcool for he is doing his part for charity and he has made his bread.

I do have to add that I have and usually do give prices that are way lower than the market price. 100-150 a zip from me, I would prefer 200 but I have a small circle and I don't want to deal with that crap. I also am a person who will throw in some free hash and shit just because. I like to make people happy and bring the world together but I like others to treat me the same and not many people are as giving as I am. I have found myself a sucker of trusting people I shouldn't.
