Help with Volcano Digit button replacement

First off I have no idea if I'm in the right place or not but hopefully someone in here can help or point me in the right direction.

My volcano buttons (not switches) were starting to get a little unresponsive and since I'm out of warranty I did some research and found that I could replace them very easily. So I ordered the new 3 prong rocker switches on Amazon that everyone buys. I got all the parts and opened up my unit but my buttons are only 2 prong? Ive searched for hours and everyone seems to have the 3 prong switches with three wires that connect. Do all digits have a 2 wire 2 prong connection instead of 3? Can I still use these switches or is there a different replacement I needed to buy? Thanks in advance!

If you have a multi meter you can check to see if the two prong switch is normaly open or close, whichever it is find the open or closed switch prongs on the three prong switch and only use those two.
