ck out the roots from 4 days, no heat, room temp 68* and no fan yet. i wanted to see if the gh rapid rooter was worth the effort. i going to have to say this stuff works real well, it costs more than it should but it does work. i used 4 drops in a gallon of water, i soaked the seeds in it, then i`m using it to keep the plugs damp. 6" of tap root in 4 days is a good indicator that the plants must like it as well.

if they weren`t mine i would say they had to much in the root zone. but i haven`t used any heat, because i wanted to see if that rooter did much good. when i looked at this morning all i could say was wow.........i wished i could put them in pots today but it`ll be more like late tomorrow, i got to get some cleaned up, i hate when plants get ahead of me.

well after reading thru what i`ve posted already i`ll have to say i don`t need to be hitting the vape before i post.lol................. well for some reason i can`t edit them, so i`am stuck with it the way it is, i need to clear up one thing for sure, the product i was trying out is gh rapid start not rapid rooter. the rest we`ll just call it a stoner moment.
now on with the update! as stated before the seedlings have been in a cool area(68*), with no heat or fan. the root growth has been enough of a difference for me to continue using the rapid start. the pics of the roots show that the growth was good, considering i should have moved them a week ago because i tore them up pretty bad trying to get them out of the tray. i got them all potted and under t5`s there is one new thing that i will be doing. i have had that passive pot for 10yrs or so and have yet to try it. we`ll see how it does for holding a mom so to speak. there is one thing i`d like to say about the passive, the pot had gotten cracked and wouldn`t hold water, so i took some of that new spray crack fix and we`ll see how that holds up as well. the rest of the plants are in gh water farms. everything is in str8 tap water no ph`ing. i`ll hold off ph`ing till i feed `em, maybe a week or so. now if you`ll excuse me i have a vape calling my name.

ok its been a while since i started these, and i have yet to feed them anything but str8 tap water. it maybe madness to some, but i have my reasons for it. it has took them longer than expected to start to yellow. it`ll all be okay tomorrow they will get feed at a full strength. i had little expectation on how they would react now, this was done for down the road in flowering where i expect to see my results. although the grapefruit krush has actually done real well.

well they have made to their final destination. i`ll start flowering them in the not to distant future. from the look of the pics its hard to believe that they all started at the same time. they have been feed nothing but str8 tap water till yesterday. you couldn`t tell by looking at the grapefruit krush, it is showing its bubba side(it`ll grow a rock). the skunk has been the biggest disappointment for me, i love the sk`s and they usually handle things real well. not that its unhealthy its just i expected more. the ww(dinafem) is not like any ww i`ve grown before, very weak and spindly. mk ultra done fairly well in the bucket, the one in the passive pot a dog pulled it up by its roots a few days ago. it is recovering nicely, has actually grown another leaf set. the dog is still in hiding, damn pot head animals.;-)bushyGFK.jpg MKU.jpg Sk.jpg WW.jpg

Great pics!! Can't wait to see how these girls do, especially that grapefruit, sometimes tap water is all they need in early veg :D
That's a cool waterfarm setup, is it recirculating? Looks like your own special mod

the tap water thing was to acompish 2 things, to show some new growers you don`t have to feed so much in the beginning and to give some early stress to the plants to see how female seeds handle it. its my 1st total female seed run.
yes it has recirculation. its not really my mod a lot of people have done it, they may go about different but the same. when you connect them together, you end with ph problems. so you have to do something. gh even sells a mod to give a trickle type recirculation with an airpump. it would be better with a smaller pump, maybe a 100-125gph, that one is a 500gph and i had to put it on a cycle timer.

i`ve been trying a new nut line for me, the maxibloom. these 2 plants i`ve got in veg right now seem to like it. i did some before and after shots to show how they like it. plant number1 is a power kush seedling, its been feed 1100ppm from day 1. it is doing great, the after pic is at 2 weeks.
number 2 is the same plant(MK ultra) in the passive pot in the pic above. this plant has been thru hell. the passive thing was a failure, root rot. this plant was also pulled up by the roots and the leaves mangled by a now near dead dog. then during the re-pot i dropped it on its head and it was buried under 2gal of clay pebbles in the sink. it`s been feed the same as the other for the last 2 weeks and seems to like the new digs and nutes. i reloaded them today and added armour si to the mix and we`ll see how that goes. so far i like the maxibloom, i`m using lucas`s formula for it which is 8g(1.5tsp) per gal. this stuff is about as simple as it gets. the 1st 3 pics are the seedling, the next 3 are the mk.

i knew it would come back. i was amazed at how fast and how well it did. this not the worst thing to ever happen in my garden. it takes some effort or lack there of to kill plants.

update on the flowering plants. end of week 3 they are recovering from some cold night time temps, it slowed them but didn`t hurt them much. the ssk started the bud formation early, the rest are just getting going.
