Sky-high after just a little - solution?

This is kinda a luxury problem, but.. My weed is too strong bongsmilie

The "problem" is that if I suck my way through half of a join (about 1 gram in it), I'm sky high. A full join and I'm completely fucked. I'm kinda like the cookies that you accidentally left in the oven for WAY too long. Way too baked.

Tobacco is absolutely not an option. I've tried mixing it half'n'half with a herbal "tobacco" called GreenGo, which is quite good, but the quality is too low (quality varies A LOT).


So my question to you guys is: What can I do? :bigjoint:

the problem is that you don't and shouldn't need "a whole joint" or even half a joint of DANK, to get where you want to be. Smoking whole joints is for parties and schwag (and the occasions where you deliberately want to be "too high," like if you're trying to knock yourself out and go to sleep). High quality dank goes hit by hit. If it's good, it should take no more than 2 good rips to be fully affected to the desired level (and 3-4 if you've built a tolerance by perpetual use). That's kinda the point: maximize potency, minimize amount used, so that you: 1) don't have to smoke as much, as often, and 2) your stash lasts longer (which also correlates to increased value...).

I want you to try an experiment. Get a nice small/moderate glass bowl, load it, take 3 good rips, and put it away, and go do something else (or just go chill and stare at the skyline or something). Wait 15 minutes. Then assess your level of effect. Too much? Take only 2 next time. Not enough? Take another right now, check back in another 5-10 minutes.

If it comes down to just wanting to smoke more often but not be "blowed," then maybe try growing some non-refined landraces, maybe selectively breed a special "regular use" strain, focusing on flavors and aromas, instead of getting as high as possible with the smallest amount of burned material. Like... "Bud-Lite." lol. Tastes great, less filling?
