I already learned several chords

Like

C,G,E,A,Em,E7,G7,Cm,D,Dm

Just easier chords

But what are some songs that are easy and dont have a complicated strum pattern

I already know Country Roads,Theres something,Best day of my life, and cant you see

But I want some newer songs just can't think of any and can't find any that aren't too complicated

I just picked up the guitar like two weeks ago and taught myself how to play the chords

I used to love her but I had to kill her.
Guns n roses verdion off the album
lies

Green day time of your life.
Dont worry about picking the notes
it sounds fine strummed.

An older one is niel young heart of gold.
you will add another simple chord to your vocab also.

Every rose has its thorns.
etc.

Here are a few songs I've compiled through the years.
You should be able to open with Adobe Reader, I have many more but without the words.

Hi the guy :)

with the chords you learned you can play 90% of all pop/rock songs ever written !

with stuff like C/G/Am/F you'll play hundred of songs from the beatles to speed metal :)

I use this http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/, pick your song !

what kind of newer songs ?

Yeah ik lol I use ultimate guitar tabs quite alot

See the problem is that I can't handle songs with hard strum patterns like strumming up and shit

One trick is to play as slow as needed but to play it right !

Another is to play with the song playing : first just strumm the chord when chord changes, then let the strumming come :)

I started with stuff like :

http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/i/iggy_pop/passenger_crd.htm

metallica - enter sandman
metallica - one
metallica - sanitarium
black sabbath - iron man
deep purple - smoke on the water
ozzy - crazy train (intro)
led zeppelin - stairway to heaven
led zeppelin - black dog
led zeppelin - heartbreaker
the beatles - helter skelter
the doors - cars hiss by my window
fleetwood mac - landslide
white zombie - black sunshine (bass line)
jimi hendrix - purple haze
pantera - cemetery gates
pantera - this love
pink floyd - goodbye blue sky
red hot chili peppers - under the bridge
dust in the wind (intermediate but uses the chords you learned and will impress your friends)
star spangled banner

try using thin picks for strumming and medium picks for more individual string work. I also use a felt pick sometimes when I want a soft warmer tone.
