Hypnotising strains

Hi fellow growers. Im looking for a helping hand from growers and tokers who have smoked these strains and experienced the effects first hand. Im looking for strains for my next grow in the new year.
I happen to like what I call "hypnotising" strains. By that I mean a strain that like the california orange I smoked one time and spent the next 30 minutes or so just sitting on the sofa and staring at the carpet, totally zoned out and disappeared into the alice in wonderland rabbit tunnels of my mind. It was terrific . Surprisingly I dont find many strains that produce this exact effect. A well grown K2 is another strain that has that effect, and I remember scoring some reddish looking skunk from a street dealer one time that really blew my mind and I was almost tripping while my body felt nearly nailed down.
So guys I will really appreciate any input you can come up with for strains that produce these specific effects.

LSD, Purple Haze. Most good Sativas.

Its depends alot on ones own tolerance, how exhausted they are, etc etc. Hybrids, I'll either get a inspirational energetic feeling or couch lock depends on my day.

Thanks for the contribution. Have never tried the strains you mentioned but I find with most sativas that while you might get the cerebral high its not the same sort of hypnotising high Im after. For example with haze which I have smoked several times I find the high to be a racy distracted kind of high and the body part is missing. I don't zone out on haze in the kind of way I described above.
Have heard good things about the LSD though.

That's what I have been working on the last couple of years , been slowly working my way through a whole list of hybrids to find that particular elusive stone. Trainwreck which is mostly sativa I found to be a kick ass strain that starts off strong and racy and gradually mellows out into euphoria, but still not that particular hypnotising stone Im after, blue cheese I found to be a creeper smoke that hits you after around ten minutes or so and which is a deeply relaxing strain, It used to make me so relaxed that I had trouble sleeping after as I felt so refreshed, but again no zoning out as such. So far I have only found 2 strains that seem to have that effect, California orange and K2, oh and that reddish looking weed I mentioned earlier, wish I knew what it was.

hypnotic is different, not exactly couch lock
i remember 1 instance many moons ago
split a joint of some very special mexican with a friend
i remember i ended up on the couch, and talking to him for along time
turns out he wasn't there for a long time, must have been babbling for an hour or so to an empty room

The Third Dimension from TGA is exactly the strain you're looking for. I find the high to be very unique and extremely hypnotic. Better than 99% of all the strains of smoked, she's definitely a top 3 for me. Here are some things others have said...

Starts off as a Sativa high without any anxiety/heart race to it; very much in the head type high. If you smoke a whole joint or 3 or more bowls of it, you are gonna feel the Indica side kick in after about 30-45 minutes or so and it is a very relaxing feeling that's good to ease the day away; not really narcotic in the sleepy way though. If you smoke a bowl or 2 when you wake up, it's a good motivational day starter.

Inhale is smooth and reminds me of a passion fruit drink I used to get in summer camp. Exhale is smooth and also surprisingly sweet. Instant lobe floating and I started smiling the second I exhaled. The Buzz was soft and pleasant and I sat staring at my pc for quite awhile but I didn’t feel the need for a pot nap but ended up doing a photo shoot. I found myself smoking a lot of this strain in the following week even though I have full jars of some of my other favorites... after 3 hits I was soaring along jamming to music and smiling my ass off.

Kinda what you described was Skunk #1 from Seedsman. Ran 1 fem and got a smoke that would cause all mental talk and activity in my head to cease for a various periods of time. Just stare out in space and 'be in the moment' or some such thing.

When I grew this calif. orange I spoke about it was from the sensi seed bank when they still carried the strain which I dont think they do any more. I think now its only dutch passion that does a calif. Orange ? which i dont know if its the same buzz as the original sensi one. Yes the particular buzz is very unique and hard to find. I have been doing some research on mr. Nice seeds devil and it sounds promising, might be the buzz im after. Anybody here knows the effects of this strain ?

I looked up Sensi and they carry California Indica, which is cali orange bud x afghani. So you may be in luck but the pheno you got before could be hard to find again.

Sounds similar to what I described. I have never grown skunk # 1 although I have smoked a lot of various types of skunk over the years, and what I generally find with skunk when I smoke it is a very energetic fidgety sort of buzz that makes me want to move around and cant really sit still, and as for sleeping you can forget it ! Now for someone who occasionally likes to get up in the middle of the night for a quick smoke before going back to bed that was a no no. The one exception to that was that orangish/reddish looking skunk I mentioned above which really nailed that particular buzz.

It's one of TGA's most overlooked strains so you probably won't find much as far as reviews go. The high is a very nice combination of head and body. It has a real spacey head high, and very soothing body stone to go with it. The high really does come in warm waves just like the breeder description says too.

maybe it's just me, but a real good hashplant does that to me, been a LONG time since I've seen a good hashplant though, and when I did get one it was a clone, so who knows what it really was... Everyone in Santa Cruz just knew it as THE hashplant, this was about 8-10 yrs ago, made my then girlfriend quit smoking pot for two days, she got all weird.. and she was a veteran smoker

Have you tried Cinderella 99?
Sativa dominate that puts me in "the zone".
