THCV STRAINS? Locate beans

I’m looking for specific info on THCV.
Also who the breeder is for the strain "Pineapple Purps."

THCV Strains with breeder and %THCV, if known?
I wish there was a comprehensive database where this type of information could be searched. Hint hint at website pros.

This is what I have found so far:
Durban Poison, unsure of the breeder: Meh, About 0.5%? THCV
Jack The Ripper (TGA Subcool): Good THCV, 5.5%?
Pineapple Purps: High THCV, 4%!!! Unknown Breeder or where to buy beans.
Doug's Varin Strain: Highest THCV, but seeds don’t seem to be available yet.

Bakhye Shamonie?: About 3% THCV
Jack el Frutero (Philosopher seeds): THCV 5.5%

Please don’t tell me: “most commonly isolated in landrace Sativas from the southern and central African continent” or “hazes”
Just looking for specifics. Strain/Percent THCV

Going by this, Jacktheripper seems the way to go for now.
Thoughts/Reccomendations?

Thc - v can only be produced under the sun.

Any pot grown indoors will not have thcv

You will probably have to search in JTR beans to find one high in THC-V like that. I'm sure they all have some. Best if you had a lab near by who could test it I think.

Malawi and supposedly Purple Durban if you can get it. Years ago purple durban hit auzzie or new zealand with a high thcv(38%) that people freaked out on. Supposedly the effect is very trippy but short lived.
With super high levels it supposedly lasts longer.
But running malawi and finding the right pheno with testing is gonna give you the result.
This is supposedly what it looks like.
There is a thread about it on another site.black4.jpg

Running Jack The Ripper for this purpose, I don't think it's as high as you mentioned but it's supposed to be relatively high in this strain. Have seen claims of anywhere from .5 to 5.5% but have never had one tested.

Try 420bis.net.
They advertise Purp. Durban.
Malawi is sold by world of seeds.
Both of these strains are recommended for outdoor
cultivation as they need UV as well as a lot of light.

thx, I prefer Castle, amazing company, but you would go with durban over jack?
;) off-loc/outdoor is the only option atm.

As with anything it's a matter of taste and function, Durban has a lot of power
Jack has a much greater yield with more than enough punch.
I don't know how Jack responds indoors but Durban hates it!

Simply bullshit
Exactly. The sun isn't magic. You CAN duplicate the spectrum adequately to grow thcv strains.

*note - if using leds for UV instead of actual UV lights in a hybrid light system be aware UV inclusive leds are still pretty inefficient (high electric bill).

Still, the point is all thcv strains can be grown indoors.

Im growing Chupacabra mostly for that reason. Blue City Diesel is known to potentially have high THCV too (2%) I did not realize Jack The Ripper was high in THCV thats good coze I am trying a cross Chupacabra male with a house strain that has Jack The Ripper for parents twice and also BCD is in the mix...
