doing real well man, been working my butt off this past month, new research n shit, im ready for a vacation! havent been updatiing like i would liike but i try to get on once a day or so. yea i would love to run my lights at night like i used to in the summer but it does not work with my schedule at all unfortunately. i cant be up at 2am gardening and drinking beer anymore like i used to, responsibilities and all that good stuff seem to multiply every year i get older lol. so u got dual 1000w each on a 5x5? thats a great set up just perfect coverage for a 1000w. im pushing the limits here with my 8x4 screen under one light for sure
Yeppers, this getting old is no fun! yea,I have 2 5x5s flower stations,in a 20'lx10'wx10'high. The other side is vegg and mother plants.I need a Holiday also!Holler if ya need anything on here I will do what I can,Keep em Green.

You seem to have it just fine, the biggest problems I had were dialing in the Heat!
2 - 1ks put off A LOT of heat! That and Texas summers of 40 plus days over a 100f.
yea i bet that a complete bitch to keep temps in check in texas! im going to go crazy this winter though. this next crop will be a total fall crop, the one after should be going into flower sometime in the end of nov- beginning of December. thats going be one i will have a lot of fun with this winter :weed: im hoping to be able to drop temps down low enough to get some reds and purples out of my POG

my temp hit 83 at my canopy last night :( so far that's the highest i have seen it reach this summer:fire:
im even a little concerned about drying properly in these high temps, i usually rig up my closet i have a 4" piece of ducting running into it from the AC but i think temps will be too high. thought about leaving the 1000w off while im drying to cut out that extra heat but i hate to leave those in the veg screen any longer, i have already been forced to let them grow up through the screen instead of under it. im just going to need to be careful when pulling this screen of and gently get them under the flower screen (its a few inches higher than the training screen is to help in just this situation) im so afraid these buds are going to dry out in like 2 days im very nervous. maybe if they dry to fast i will put them up for cure as soon as they feel ready. maybe the chlorophyll and everything will break down the same way fingers crossed, i don't see why that wouldn't do the same thing as a good slow dry im still going to have the microbes breaking down all the nasty things for the same length of time, just in a jar rather than strung up for 5 days like i like

The harvesting has commenced. the hubby and i worked 5 hours trimming yesterday, we got a little over half way done. we chopped 2 bubblicious and the POG yesterday. im going to finish up the 2 remaining bubblicious today. it looks like it shopuld be a killer harvest so far, i filled up the tray just like this one 4 times so i wont venture to guess how much but its got to be a lb<IMG_0759.JPG IMG_0760.JPG

i quick dried some o the POG last night while we were trimming just cause i have been so curious about that strain, it tastes just like grape soda! its absolutely incredible and it wasn't dried properly or cured even. i got to say it has the best taste of anything i have had to date. very very grapy at the beginning the grape penetrates to the back o your throat and on the exhale the grape subsides and your left with a very refreshing lemon, citrus taste that coats your entire tongue. i wont speak to the potency as that best left until its dried all the way but seems great at this early stage

here is that Purple OG#18 this shit is rock hard, its the densest bud i have grown to date hands down, along with the best tasting, and that says a lot because the bubble gum has been my #1 favorite for years and years. this crop is making me question my whole world view lol, i think there may be a new #1 love in my life. idk if you can see it in the last picture (ill try to find a better branch) but she was starting to turn a little red/purple at the base of the resin glands.IMG_0761.JPG IMG_0762.JPG IMG_0768.JPG

yes i really am excited to see whats going to happen when i get this room dialed in as well as my SCROG technique. also have way more to learn about what that POG likes. im optimistic, this is a great harvest and i know what i got this time can fairly easily be doubled, i learned a lot cutting them down. i can better see where i need to lollipop up to next time and how far to let the branches crow up before the flip. there was about 20% of the screen that wasn't even filled for fear they would out stretch the screen

i don't want to get ahead of myself here but if i could even come close to doubling my harvest next time i should have no problem hitting or surpassing that 1.5 GPW

hey guys and gals, give me your thoughts here. i found several leaves on the POG with this purple in between the veins, it seemed to show up mostly where the leaves were shaded under another leaf. im curious it didn't show up until around harvest after i started flushing. what deficiency is this? molybdenum? ive never had this show up before, would like to know what causes it for future reference.
