In general making this thread so that we can try to put out little pointers of different things in this marijuana lifestyle that can cause us to get sick or can help us to better health

For example my buddy Geo got pneumonia three times from he swears ice bonging he (and his doctor) say the extreme changes in temperature(as in cold bong rip to hot summer air) on one's lungs are very unhealthy so another words if you're out real late at night or it's really cold out & the air is really cold anyway ice bongin is the preferable way to smoke for late night fishing or something you can't beat it

BHO wax transfers all of the estrogen in the extremely feminized plant that is cannabis beware Male smokers you can actually develop breasts from overdoing it with BHO's i've seen it and the scars and processes of the surgery to have the glands removed shit happened to my stepdaddy on the upside it will actually help with balding because that's what estrogen does

On the other side of things female smokers BHO's can help enhance and enlarge your breasts however that's also more hair removal work for you ladies (balding gentleman are sometimes put on estrogen to try to help with the balding also sometimes end up growin tits) honestly!

thus is life

I'm having a hard time with that assertion. Trying to picture a complex molecule like a hormone surviving combustion and in sufficient quantities to change your physiology.

As an upside, I like how regular use of the Canna reduces my food craving. I attribute this to part of my weight loss over the last three years.

maybe I should've said I'm almost positive at the top of this statement rather than stating it as fact I apologize

From a health and safety point of view, I would say that you shouldn't do anything that will require that you live in a prison.

Hi to all. I am new to smoking/edibles/etc. I started having seizures regularly about 7 months ago, most likely related to one of my medical disorders. I take a lot of medication because of my health, and was hoping mj would help reduce that. So, I tried some cannabutter several months ago ... and shortly afterwards I had my first and only grand-mal seizure (all the others have been partial, and not weed-related). I haven't done a lot of research but does anyone here have info about this or a similar experience? Are edibles maybe just something I should stay away from?

just a guess here, perhaps you had too much active thc. was it from a sativa hybrid by any chance? have you smoked much before? concentrates can be difficult to keep dosages low until there is tolerance build up.

can you find lower thc / high cbd content strains to work from?

consider making butter, or OIL, from a sedative indica. possibly decarb it -long- so it has the most body relaxing/sleepy effect.

That's about what I was thinking, that I had too much of it for my low tolerance. I have only smoked a few times before and most of the highs were unpleasant with no body pain relief. But they were not medicinal strains, I'm quite sure, though I don't have any idea of what they were. I do think low THC/high CBD will work better for me, but I would like to be able to still ... "do stuff." I am already drowsy enough throughout the day as it is. I think I have found a few strains (indica/sativa mixes) that should work well, whose purpose are medicinal. :leaf:

As for smoking, I have no tolerance at all to the smoke and coughing is a bad trigger for me. I am hoping edibles will be perfect, and maybe vaporizer for a different effect?

My neurologist didn't seem too thrilled about my past experimentation ... too many variables in the medication regimen. She agreed that may have triggered my bad seizure. We'll see how that goes. And thank you for the help man!!!

Who is this question directed to? If it's for me, I don't have a stepdad ... my biofather passed away a little over two years ago and was not overweight (in fact he was in fantastic shape and overall health) until he started chemo/radiation/anti-inflammatory steroids.

You know as a person who has been diagnosed with something none of us ever want..can we let up on the assumptions that it is the persons fault for having fucking cancer? I don't think this can ever be known so leave it be
