Police abuse at it's finest

Instead of looking at this case with an open mind you seem to favor a story line, where this is ruled a justifiable homicide...
pot calling the kettle black? change justifiable homicide to murder and I could say the same thing about you

Whats the source for that fine reporting? All I can see is that it is being reported by the blaze, and they are citing a twitter post.

Please quote me on where I gave an opinion that this was a murder or justifiable homicide.

I questioned your thought process, then got into a side conversation discussing the reason why a large percentage of African Americans live in poverty, continued to question your thought process, but have not yet given an opinion....

You on the other hand in multiple posts have personally made statements showcasing your opinion that this was probably a justifiable homicide.

I'll give you that. You haven't opined on this incident but given your comments and views from the previous posts seemingly defending the racial situation I did assume and on that fact I will apologize. As for my views I take nothing at face value. Certainly I have opinions and will take a side when I feel I have enough info to do so but I also have no problems changing my views and opinions to side with evidence. I never said the cop was innocent or guilty I merely stated that one story makes more sense than the other. But, I also understand that just because it makes sense doesn't make it true. Which Is why I have said numerous times I'm waiting for more facts and evidence to be presented

It's a quality control issue Glad. Too many bad cops and not enough good cops. Plenty of cops just want to do their job and go home alive. Plenty of cops do something else with their gun and badge and that something else is very very frightening to think about. Rodney King anybody? The recent fat black man in NYC that was choked to death on the sidewalk for peddling untaxed cigarettes. How far does this shit have to go before we stop treating Citizens of this country as if we we're the enemy of the State. This has become national news and it's not going to disappear anytime soon. The police won't even issue the name of the officer involved and there's suspicion the officer may be the Chief's son. Time will tell. By the way, this is both a race issue coupled with a massive police abuse issue. The population of this city, Ferguson, is nearly 80% low income black. The police force is 90% white. They escalated an already dangerous situation by further showing their lack of training by bringing in military equipment which is why Governor Nixon had to bring in a more professional force under his direct control. There's now an FBI investigation paralleling the State investigation. I'm white and have been on the receiving end of dirty criminal law breaking white cops, so it's absolutely a police abuse issue and not completely a race issue. It just becomes much worse when the police abuse is instigated by racial tensions.

John Oliver; now that's a true patriot standing up for American values and he's a British National for shit sake. If John Stewart and John Oliver ran for President and Vice President, they just might actually be elected to office, if only Oliver were a natural born citizen. (Can we trade Rush Limbaugh to the British for John Oliver?)

The only problem is, I know they're just not crooked enough for the job and their logical way of thinking would show the rest of the populace how horrible they've been treated by their political representation that does little to nothing to serve them, so they'd be pariah's in their own political fish tank.

That video was crap... the video of college bound mike (lol) showed he was a violent criminal! He attacked the cop and he was put down - good shoot, no charges will be filed. Ask that store owner if the world is a better place with many holes in big mike... I can guess his answer

It's now been reported that the officer suffered a broken orbital bone. not hard fact as of yet since to investigators are keeping tight lipped but if true hard to see how that would have happened by dragging the guy into the vehicle by his neck. And why would the4 officers gun discharge in the vehicle unless someone's hand was on it. I really don't believe the officer was going to try and execute him in the vehicle while he shad him in a headlock. As I stated before it just doesn't make sense the story they are trying to paint

Yeah but even the black lying witnesses said there was a struggle days ago. Now we know the struggle resulted in the officer being harmed. If someone broke my shit I would probably be pissed. I hope I wasn't so pissed that I executed someone as they were backing away...To be continued

I never said any of the witnesses were lying. I only said the stories just didn't make sense. seems unlikely a struggle would result in a broken orbital bone. and again that's not even been confirmed yet so lemme throw that out there so someone doesn't think I'm quoting fact

If I elbowed/punched you in the eye while we were fighting it would probably break your orbital bone. I am built like an NFL lineman though, not sure how big this guy was.

I've heard media reports before that turned out to be premature and ended up false so I am waiting for confirmation from a bit more reliable source

For the last time, the facts of the situation are this:

2 black teenagers are confronted in some manner (this is key) by an officer for the horrible crime of Jaywalking which somehow escalates to 6 shots being fired by said officer into an unarmed teenager. Where was backup? Cops love their backup. Why did the officer escalate the situation rather than ease the hostility of the situation until backup arrived?

The officer had supreme control in this situation, not Brown or his idiot friend who obviously had better wits about himself and simply ran from this ridiculous confrontation.

The officer had the gun.
The officer had the badge.
The officer had backup.
The officer had a baton.
The officer had mace.
The officer had a million better things to do with his time other than harass jaywalkers.
The officer was in a 3000 LB police car.
The officer was trained in conflict resolution and safe policing practices.

The officer chose not to wait for backup when a hostile situation arose from his unnecessary confrontation which was obviously handled very poorly.

The officer shot Brown 6 times as a result of this unnecessary confrontation which included 4 shots to the arm and 2 kill shots to the head when other means of subduing Brown were readily available (backup, baton, taser, and mace).

The officer shot at least 6 bullets into a crowded public space with heavy foot traffic and vehicular traffic, jeopardizing public safety by putting the lives of passer by's directly in his poorly trained hands.

Brown was unarmed.
Brown did not confront the officer.
Brown did not have a gun.
Brown did not have a badge.
Brown did not have backup.
Brown did not have a baton.
Brown did not have a 3000 LB police car.
Brown did not have mace.
Brown was shot 6 times. 4 times in the arm and 2 kill shots to the head.

Again, who was the aggressor and agitator here? I'd expect Brown to act unreasonable when a poorly trained and aggressive officer cast the first stone, wouldn't you? If it were me that had an aggressive cop grab my dam shirt through his window over fucking jaywalking, acting like he was king swinging dick, I'd probably be dead right now instead of Brown.

I am waiting for some facts or a better painted story with a tad of facts.
Mick, why haven't the police confirmed how many bullets were left in the Officer's clip? Are they afraid to say how many bullets were discharged into a crowded public space that didn't wind up in Brown's dead body?

When the information isn't disseminated I have to naturally begin to think they're hiding something.
