Ppm ph dwc

Hi I'm about 3 week in veg with my sour d clone
It's in a bubble bucket in tap water out the faucet at 160ppms
I've ran into problems with trying to keep the ppms low and have a steady ph
B4 I could get my water at 400-500 ppms and have my ph @5.8 with dyna grow . For about a week I was good with the same res till I started seeing a lil mag def so I changed it out today
Now I'll mix up the nutes ppm and ph will be right at above numbers I'll sit the plant in it a hour later my ph will shoot up so I'll add more Nute but my ppms are high 770 800 I'm scared it will burn up my plant what is going on?

Nutes are nutes, not pH adjusters. Many things could be causing this problem but without the proper products to adjust pH you will have a hard time.

be honest i stoped phing my dwc about 2 years ago ;) ppm from rooted clones on about 840 with a ec of 1.2

are you letting your tap water settle for 24-48 hours in a drum/bucket before adding nutes? ...my ph was eratic until i read to do this to gas the chlorine etc out of the water before using

nope just fill my rezi straight from the tap add nutes and off we go

Nope I really never had the problem with it jumping around to now

Ph is the most crucial aspect of control you have in hydro. Not properly controlling it will never be better, and more nutes is not better, dark green indicates too much nitrogen.

Dark green does not always indicate too much nitrogen as some strains have a natural darker hue to them some often turn black or purple. Most of these strains are indicas sativas from my experience are usually a lighter shade of green.
