Bringing Weed Through Airport

Hi, i'm new to this and highly doubt i'm posting in the right thread and if i'm not im sorry.

Anyway, I'm going on an international flight and have a stop in Heathrow and want to bring some bud with me. I was thinking of getting a carton of cigarettes, opening one side and taking out one box then emptying all boxes and filling one box with bud and then putting it in first then the rest.. Is this a bad idea and if so what's the best way as of 2014! Thanks in advance.

Bad idea. Big risk for a pretty mild reward in my eyes. I'd rather be sober than in jail, but that's me. Also I would be weary as I know residue scanners
are in place. I am pretty sure weed won't trip them but after traveling for a hunting trip, I did ping a scanner for GSR on my hands and was pulled aside
where they did a more through chemical analysis on my hands. (Not to self, never clean your shotgun hours before heading to the airport again. GSR will reside through soap and water as well.)

Fuck!! I'd make sure there'd be no smell though? Just cause it's €25 a gram where I live and where i'm going I can get close to 200g for that..

Go for it, be a hero and smuggle Cannabis into the country and get a jail sentence! Cannabis in the UK is still strictly forbidden and you will have severe problems. The UK Customs is very, very good and they don't miss much. I came back from Amsterdam one year and 17 people on the flight were pulled, searched and arrested on the spot for smuggling.

They'll find it... Especially with the new machines at Heathrow that you have to go through, the xray machines. They can see things which have been anally inserted, so I don't think a thin bit of cardboard is going to hide a gram or 2 of Cannabis, do you?

For small amounts needed badly on travel: grind up what you want to take, put inside gel caps that you have pulled apart. Pick a gel cap product at a health food store that has a similar looking green powder inside it. Choose an opaque colored capsule, not clear. Get a decent size bottle of the stuff. Wipe clean your stuffed pills as best you can and put a small dot with pen on the ones that are mj. Put them all back in the jar toward the bottom. Open one of the capsules that has the non-mj inside and sprinkle around the inside of the jar. Seal the jar up and wipe down outside with alcohol. Place this in a clear bag (preferably smell proof but ordinary looking) with a bunch of other health food type pills, deodorant, toothbrush, etc. and travel safe. Works even better with ground hash or kief as you don't need as much. Good luck, you'll probably still get busted but I never have.

First off I really wouldn't risk doing that on an international flight. Buuuuutttttt if I were personally dead set and didn't mind the risk of getting some insane charges for a crap amount of MJ then I would consider doing this.
Go to any smoke shop.
Grab one of those small plastic rolling machines for the filter tubes.
I can get one of the cheap ones for under 10$.
A single unfilled cigarette tube by itself weighs .15 grams.
A cigarette from a pack of Marlboros weighs .90 Grams.
i would take the tobacco out of cigarettes.
Grind up bud.
Use the rolling machine to put bud into cigarette tubes.
If I wanted to get really crafty I'd pop a bit of tobacco on the far end of the roller so when it pushes the herb + tobacco in the tube there's normal tobacco at the end of it.
Stuff the "cigarettes" back into the box they came in.
Keep pack of "smokes" in pocket.
If I had some super stinky stuff then I'd light up a cig. Smoke it halfway. Put it out. Stuff it back into the pack. Anyone who smokes cigs knows that doing this makes the entire pack smell/taste like a reburn cigarette.
The dryer the bud is the less it would smell.
Now I'm in no way suggesting that you personally try that method but it could feasibly work.

Just because you check the bag does not mean it wont be scanned... I'm with libertychicken, mail it. Then you still have some shadows in case it is caught. Can't really claim the bag isn't yours when you checked it but a package without a return address and no record of who actually sent it...

The best way is to purchase a good pigeon. If it is very smart you can tell it to go wherever in the world you want it to go and it will carry up to a kg give or take 850 grams or so of drugs. I have done it before on a trip to Vegas. I bought a lindor truffles variety pack and cut open a few of the round chocolate balls that are in the wrapper. Cut in half carefully with a sharp knife then take out/carve out the center which is pretty easy, stuff in your weed in a small baggie (I used saran wrap) then put the two halves back together and wet your fingers to smooth out the chocolate at the seam. Put back in the wrapper and then just pack the whole package of chocolates in your luggage.

I had no problems. Hard to bring a lot of weed this way but it is pretty safe IMO.

About 8 years ago I took about half an ounce from heathrow to hong kong without issue. But i wouldn't try that these days. Had absolutely no issue with customs scanning on the eurostar on the way back from amsterdam last winter though, i just put all the weed in my rolling box with my grinder etc.

make or buy some edibles. I bag full of candies mixed with edible candies always works.

my buddy put 3 syringes of CO2 oil on top of his checked bags made it no problem. from CO to TX

I think the false color x-ray scanners are based on density to make shapes. I am also not sure of the advancements in high resolution backscatter, or polarization techniques they have now.

All it takes is suspicion and you will be turning out those Cig pack under a dog's nose.

I've heard, from Lady Sky, I think, ...no, that the flashy bra thing... there is the idea of stuffing the paper rolled clothes hangers for pants. You could get a very uniformed density inside the cardboard tube.

But, the risk vs reward doesn't make sense in the USA and certainly not at Heathrow.
