Hey all,

Just showing off my Barney's farm g13 haze plant before it hits the flower room.

Have been using generic nutes since the beginning and they have been getting the job done!

Been vegged for 6 weeks and was just flushed yesterday. Looking forward to seeing the results this one will give!

Since it's taking me a few days to get that girl in the flower room (due to unfinished plants and no space), I thought I'd add in her blue cheese sister to the mix!

The one on to is a Barney's farm blue cheese about 5 and a half weeks old (which on my end is poorly LST'd),
And the bottom is the same G13 Haze as before.

Ok guys!
Last night I cleaned out my flowering room and began to veg them a little more under a 600w hps with my net over top of them.

I'm hoping to be able to have these looking nice and full within the next week, but we will see how it goes.

I'm sure I'll make a quick decision on when I flip to 12/12 lol, I always seem to make up my mind and do it right on the spot.

Left is g13 haze, right is blue cheese

Both are Barney's farm genetics.

Couple of questions if I may.

1. Why are you going to flush before switching to flower?

2. Why have you taken the time to LST them and now thrown a net of them?

Nice looking plants BTW.

I flushed because I gave them too much N, and I LST them by tying them down before I put them under a net so it gives the smaller nodes a chance at getting more light so I get a more even spread under the net when the time comes. And thanks man.

Gotcha.

As for the net I still don't see what it brings to the table so to speak?

Mainly support?
Trying to SCROG?
Using to slow virtical growth of the leaders while lower growth catches up?

Will you remove the net later or allow the plants grow up through it?

I use the net to even my canopy and allow light to reach lower branches and also for support. Not a "scrog" so to speak, but it helps keep my plants low, and to keep the same height all around :p I have only a 5' tent, so it definitely helps there lol

So yesterday I flipped the lights to 12/12, and this morning I already see pistils. I have never had a plant show sex in only just a night of flower. How common is that? Thought it was pretty odd

Depends really on veg time.

But I generally have pistils before entering into flower anyway.

So usually I feed them veg nutes for about a week after I flip the lights, but since they're already showing pistils should I still do that? I figured you'd know better than I.

If you have a veg and bloom formula then mix whatever you need to in order to keep healthy leaves looking healthy and performing well.

Most bloom formulas are lacking in enough N to sustain foliage during flowering.

I would say keep on your veg formula for at least 2 weeks. Then you could mix it with bloom say 60/40 one week, veg to bloom. Then 40/60 veg to bloom.

Then possibly straight bloom after that.

I use a 5-4-3 base nute 2part in coco with extra Ca and Mg later on, along with a PK boost for one week during flowering.

Thanks man! I'm gonna give it a shot and just try and read my plants for what they look like they need

Alright!

We are now 13 days from the 12/12 switch and the ladies are growing on up!

I purchased the exhale co2 bag last week... Hasn't made much of a difference, but it was worth a shot.

Other than that, not much is changing, just growing like they're supposed to.
