Emergency update!:cuss:
So I went to turn my girls on this morning
And I was greeted by a flashing HPS bulb(blue flashes, like a welding torch flash wtf)
So it tried to fire up several times, then POP!
DSC_0608.jpg
It actually looks like the glass was superheated by an electrical arc, which made the glass melt onto the filament, then POP!
Because the hole doesn't blow outwards, but it looks like the glass dripped inwards:roll:.
Anyways......
So emergency trip to the local shop(which I really, really, really didn't want to do,but what other option was there eh?:o)
So new bulb bought....
DSC_0602.jpg
And gave my girls a p/k only top up....
DSC_0610.jpg
DSC_0621.jpg DSC_0622.jpg And everything's "good in the hood" again
DSC_0624.jpgAnd here's a pic of my other girl in my life......

TBH,I had been meaning to change it anyway ,just not like this lol.
The bulb is about 2 year old,so who knows, it might be a blessing in disguise, and give me a better yield now lol.
OR......
The one hour delay could have given me hermies :bigjoint:

The 2 pots are sat in a large tub, which has the screen attached to it,so I can drag it in and out fairly easy(Could do with wheels though lol).
Im still a little gutted overall though, because I should have 2 of those 3'x1.5' tubs, that would have fitted perfectly in there, but because of the BD runt(which has now shot up by itself),I put faith in the HSH(foolishly>:(),when I should have just thrown those fuckers, and waited for the runt to shoot up.
Make a plan,and stick to it,sounds simple enough eh?:dunce:
Im already thinking about the Crimbo grow, and it shouldn't be like that lol.

I will hopefully gets some pics up by the weekend, had a bit of a drama in there this week.
I have been away for the last few days,so our lass has been looking after them(I know this sounds like im about to blame her,but im not...really:wink:.
Anyways...I get back last night, and go and check on my plants, and as soon as I open the door, its like a foooooking sauna in there!:cuss:
38c is the room temp,so god only knows what the temp under the reflector was(I didn't hang around long enough to measure it,flipped it straight down to 250w,and raised the reflector.
It turns out,she hadn't flipped the switch for the fan for the last few days.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Anyways........Im a little pissed at that, but it was my fault anyway, because we had a few cool days here last week,my large fan wasn't plugged into the timer, and I checked on this daily, but sods law dictates we just had to have a flaming heatwave whilst I were away:fire:
I forgot to plug it into the timer, and it didn't even dawn on me whilst I was away.
So.....The S/B doesn't seem too fazed(it was in the cooler side near the wall)
But the B/D scrog is showing real stress signs on some of the leaves.
And the B/D that isn't scrogged is as happy as Larry, but this plant doesnt sit directly under the hood,so no real suprise there.
I have never battled with a grow as much as I have with this one, can't wait til its over TBH,seems to have gone on for ever due to the veg time lol.

Ok guys, sorry for the lack of updates, this grow has been a disaster since I started flower.
And for the latest installment of this nightmare drama.....
WE GOT HERMIES!
What a load of c**ting, bolloxing, bastard shitarse crap this has turned out to be!
So here goes.
I thought the other day that I would snip off an early S/B tester(picked one of the ripest looking buds),I left it to dry a few days, and when I took a closer look at the bottom of the bud....NANA'S!,fucking nanas!
I didn't see it when I trimmed it,but there it was all exploded, and when I rubbed between my thumb and finger, pollen smeared all over my skin!.
Great!...
So I pulled the whole thing out, chopped the S/B down, trimmed her up,and every single mini cola was the same, bud looked fine at the top,but every one had a nana at the bottom of the bud,it looks like under the canopy of buds, there was aright good old pollen orgy going on!
Not only nanas on the S/B,but fully developed seeds too!
I checked on the B/D that was in the same SCROG,and unfortunatly, she has been caught too,no nanas though, bud airy undeveloped buds, with undeveloped seeds in clusters, not all of them, but most of them that were tangled in with the S/B.
So the only thing that seems alright,is my B/D that was lst'd,and that is looking very fat.
Apart from the buds not filling up very fast from week 5,there was no obvious signs of a hermie on top of the canopy, everything looked fine.
I cant strictly blame the genetics of the S/B,because it could have well been the bulb blowing on me,and messing around the with the light schedule(albeit for just one day),or the mad weekend of temperature she got in week 5.
So from the scrognet,I got 160 grams of wet hermied S/B,and 250 grams of wet hermied B/D.
Suprised really, because the B/D was really airy compared to the S/B,but the B/D had longer buds.
Sorry for lack of pics,I will definitely get some up when the buds have dried out.
What a fuck up!:cuss:
