Damn all these Doctors are in the GTA which is no good for this part of ontario. WTF doctors need to spread out a bit more and leave the bubble.

Too bad we don't have doctors like that here in Alberta.
Hear hear.. I am an arthritis patient in SK and having real trouble finding a doctor nearby. My primary physician says he won't sign for MMJ and I can't and don't want to pay $400 bucks for a Skype doctor unless I really am left with no more options coz that is just wrong asking for such bucks.

If anyone can provide me with any info about helpful doctors in Saskatchewan or Alberta please shoot me a message, my arthritis thanks you!! :) I am in Regina but I'll drive anywhere reasonable

Tell your Doctor to find you another GP or specialist who will sign without charging a fee!

:)

Hope this helps

To think anyone would use a middle idiot, to find a Doctor, which their GP can do for free?
Why would anyone use this Bullshit service?
I guess if you find dumb enough people, to use an even dumber business, to set themselves up with a license to smoke marijuana, more power to them.

Dr. Abbasi himself is really pissed off about the referral places charging money and is generally indignant about the whole thing.
Yet he will happily part patients from $100 to "write a script"? Other than the price, what's the difference?

Off Topic (when is anything here ever on topic?):
Any of those vape pens actually work?
there were a few different vape pens at the head shop, i wasn't very sure of them though so i just left it alone. i'm not really sure what the deal is with them.

Going to see if I can buy one built with ceramic components.

Most GPs won't write or refer...
You are not going about this the correct way.
This is your Right Mr! They have to do this for you or find you another GP/doctor, as he is not willing to treat you or does he need your money.
The excuse that they won't refer you is Bullshit. They have to. You are not trying hard enough.
End of story

Honestly, I would have been hooped (ish) without it.

The walk-in clinic or emergency room doctors would not have prescribed it for me.

I actually COULD have gotten it from my new psych doc (possibly), but I still don't see him until the end of the week - and if I hadn't started this whole magical carpet ride - I probably would not currently be seeking psychiatric treatment.

I've been on a wait-list for a year for a family doctor.

Now...I'm surfing the net on which kind of strain I want to buy.

It's pretty neat!

I would love it, if someday - soon, people could just go to any old doc, or actual LEGAL dispensary, and get their pot.

But for now, I'm gonna walk around with my prescribed stuff, and go to the Liberal party meetings, and TALK about this shit. Openly and Loudly.

Friend of mine just went to DR Goddard in Chilliwack and got a full prescription (NO MMPR) which sates that the patient uses this much MJ per day and is allowed to posses it. Cost him $100. I'm gonna set up an appointment for next week to get in.

This is interesting, so he would just carry around his prescription as his identification for being legal?

Health Canada is trying to say that only LP product is allowed. But when doctors prescribe patients to a CC or just write them a prescription, how can Health Canada argue? They are the ones that put the prescription process in the doctors hands.

I hope more doctors do stuff like this.
