Texas will probably be the last one to legalize,IMO.Here in Fl,they are at least considering certain parts of legalization.down the road it will eventualy lead to complete legalization.

Its a start though! Its better then nothing! at least we're heading in the right direction!
Anything medical is a step back it will never end the way you want it too it ever gets rescheduled by the federal government everyone in the medical industry is in for a rude awakening especially with this Obama Care shit cause most actually sick people kids and all will be more then happy to receive their medication from the pharmacist. Not to mention the patents GW Pharmaceuticals has.

Quite Frankly it doesn't matter if a State legalizes Cannabis, here in California where Medical Marijuana was legalized back in 1996, each City is allowed to overrule State law, and so only a small handful of cities have put Medical Marijuana on their APPROVED business list, so you basically cant get a Business License, and still have to operate like a criminal.

The cities that did allow the ordinance (like San Diego Recently) have SPECIFIED places that you can open a dispensary (1000 ft. from pretty much anything including air), and those places are in the Boonies, not only that, try to find a building in their specified area's, now try to find an empty building, now try to find an empty building out in the middle of nowhere with a Landlord that will rent to you. Thanks for NOTHING!! There are a couple of cities that are doing it pretty well, but depending on where you live in the state, those cities can be FAR AWAY.

So here we are in Sunny California, with Legal Medical Marijuana, and no LEGAL place to get it.. Something to think about ;-)

I had not heard that or see anything in the News about it. Do you have any details, cause I would be interested. Usually raids today involve people doing shit they aren't supposed to, not necessarily just because they are growing/distributing. For example, One lady up north swears she is legal and did nothing wrong, but the undercover cop that recorder her admitting she is sending product to Colorado says differently.

I only know they came at 7;30 in the morn. the building was on broadway and 17th, all 4 places had around 200 patients a day and the parking lot was a mess. I imagine enough complaints from neighbors did them in. Just my opinion though.

Still wouldn't amount to a Raid cause as long as they have their Nonprofit and Sales Tax permit, they are legal in the State of Calif. What more than likely happened is what I had stated a couple posts back,, They did not have a Business License, and YES all of that traffic probably put them on the radar,,, but they would not be raided for this infraction. The city has to sue them in order to shut them down. They must have been doing something else to violate state law ;)
