Take a few more then you want to grow for the lowered success rate and hey if they all root you have more then you intended and you can either grow them sell them chuck them or plant them in the local bush land and hope for the best

When I was a kid, my aunt would take a cutting stick it in a glass and put it in the window sill, so I tried this once...

It worked!
Just remember to keep changing the water every day. You can increase your chances by supplying a small air pump and air stone. The increase in oxygen of the water will help increase your chances of establishing roots.

^ Thats kinda what I do. I fill a plastic red cup about a inch with tap water and stick the cutting in it and just put it in the corner of tent and get roots every time. I don't add nothing or ph because there is no roots and I don't let the chlorine evaporate because thats what is sterilizing my cuttings.

Yeap! People don't understand that chlorine is a "good thing" and that weed likes a little bit of chlorine and many folks go out of their way to remove it completely.

Can't recall positively, but, I think it's a trace element?

Yea for my regular ladies I use to sit the water out of for 24-48 hrs to let the chlorine evaporate but then got lazy sometimes and just water straight tap water and notice no difference so now I don't do it.

Best advice yet. The cutting will manufacture its own hormone.. O2 is key. An air stone will help
