How does this sound? Guerilla Growing

Hey fellow pot pundits!

I am going to start a guerilla grow this year for my first grow with the Frisian Dew super skunk from dutch passion which I hear is great for outdoor growing in the UK. I will be planting them indoors at the end of April as this summer is supposedly going to be late, and once they are 1-2 feet in size I will move them outside to my patch (well hidden in a quaint English village) where I will prepare a pit filled with multi purpose compost and will probably add a little fertilizer high in nitrate to give the plants a good start outside. I will water them every fortnight with a little feed added to support growth and then when the plant starts flowering I will be using Ionic Bloom with the fortnightly watering to increase my yield.

I will also be supercropping and I'm not sure when to do that because obviously I can't predict when the ladies will reach the right height for me to start that. Probably mid june...

I intend to harvest them of course and then get incredibly baked.... :)

I'm posting here to gain as much advice as possible and so that I can double check my plan sounds about right.

Sounds like your the man with the plan... aberration.gif please do keep us all updated. Would really like 2 see what your working with. I will be placing a few of my newer indoor crosses outdoor to test & see how they react . Have a wide selection to choose from I know that. lol Over the winter I was able to make in the upward range of 42 crosses. :) So I have my work cut out for me needless to say. growingweed (1).gif

I've had bad luck starting my ladies in anything with any sort of high NPK rating.. I try to pot in soil that is somewhat low in nutrients and let them work their way up. Guerilla growing can be tough but in the end it is well worth it for sure. Good luck this season!

The only thing organic that I use would be compost/ composted manure... other than that I've been using a foliar feed from a small local company when needed. The soil around here is already high in nitrogen so the NPK of the foliar feed is 4-15-12 I believe and normally use it at half strength.
You'll find that everyone has a different opinion of what is right and what is wrong. You'll kind of have to sift through the info and find something that fits your needs.

So many nutes to chose from....i use a time release formula on some and just manure (cow or sheep) on others. I grow in bags (well use to, lol) and in a swampy area. Not sure if you've done the outdoor thing before but I find the biggest issue is trails into the area and its hard to avoid. I use a boat lol. Good luck! I had very bad luck with Fresian dew when it first came out years ago but had just started indoors so probably me and lack of skill.

Yesss. . How could I forget to mention leaving a trail. I'm having problems with that right now myself. I'm growing in a few different locations but one of them is in a field of autumn olive bushes.. So I ended up having to create 3 different ways in to that plot and autumn olive is horrendous with sharp branches and inch long thorns. But, its worth it. Nobody in their right mind would venture into those SOBs.

Ah ok. Fair do's. I'm just gonna go organic for the vegetative stage and use wood ash and manure. Then when it starts flowering I will experiment with Ionic bloom to try and get those big buds :)

Sounds good. I like how you planned everything out. That always helps a great deal. I'm the same way, I've been planning my grow for this year since my harvest of 2013 and working on my plots since the end of January- beginning of February and I'm still finding new things to do. It sucks having to prep my sites in the middle of the night but it beats having people see me wander into the woods with hand saws, shovels, and soil.
A handy tool to have.. or app I should say is called Sun Surveyor, check it out.. could help you determine the best spots to plant to maximize sunlight and all that.
Keep us updated on how the Frisian Dew does.. that strain looks amazing.

Yeah doesn't hurt to be careful with my investment! And wow you sound like you have your head screwed on tight... Luckily my plot is relatively easy to get to without detection!
And okay, I'll check it out. Thanks
Yeah will let y'all know on this thread. I got a boner just looking at the site I got the seeds from... October couldn't come quicker...

Haha.. you're probably the first person to ever say that! I just like to know what to expect and plan ahead for things that could go wrong because more than likely, they will.
I hear ya.. I'm on RIU at least twice a day looking at other people pics because I can't wait for mine to start budding up.
Again, good luck!

A boat :L Haha that's cool! The place I'm doing it in is an old derelict field with wild plants everywhere except this one little clearing which was a bitch to get to through thick undergrowth.
Interesting, some say it's even better to grow outside than indoors... but whatever floats your boat eh? :L

Outdoors is great but can be hard work! I used to grow in a swamp that is only accessible by boat and used to run 50-75 plants hence the time release nutes. Also in my area success is determined by weather. We tried to get everything done by end of September due to bud rot. Planning on a small auto grow this summer due to a shitty last run under the lights :(. And yes going with a Dutch Passion strain even though I've had some terrible luck with some of their strains. The outdoor strain we ran was Blue Berry!

To be honest, growing somewhere like a swamp where the humidity would be high in the summer is asking for quite a lot of mould and bud rot :L But fairplay for persisting.
What was the yield like on the blue berry?

Actually its not the swamp that causes the bud rot. You could plant them in the middle of a field here and still will get it late in the season due to rain and cold temps. That is the biggest issue here with any grow, rain and temps with late finishers. The blue berry averaged 1/3-1/2 pound per plant but the quality was superb. I've grown pot outdoors since I was 14 and am now 53 so almost 40 years and have seen and tried it all. With a true gorilla grow plants tend to be a bit lower yielding due to lack if daily care. Also we have to watch the aerial onslaught here, helicopters start flying mid september and trails stick out like a sore thumb in the fall so thats a biggy lol. I fly and in my plane i can see plots everywhere lol.
