Brick & mortar establishments have a lot of risk and overhead. I'd guess 5 per g of that is in legal fees and retainers, consider it a NORML tax ;)

We aren't talking regs here, it's grade A chit.

Don't see why I should be expected to give half my weed to some store owner who didn't spend the 5 months growing drying and curing, who wasn't there when I was trying to put the room together, some of it by returning pop cans. They weren't a part of mixing and hauling the dirt, figuring out what that leaf spot is, or how to replace a ballast in the middle of a flowering cycle, paying the electric bill and on and on and on it goes. They get so much, but weren't online for hours reading posts and books. So, why should they get half?

BTW. When dealers charge so much and pay so little, growers keep the good shit for themselves. This causes the market to suffer, the overall quality to go down, the Black Market to flourish, and it keeps patients from getting access to the best medicines.

Good job Lindzey, stop being so selfish, you already live a dream you spoiled little brat.
Not a fan of Lindzys. Wet meds and the budtender says "we have clones! They're even ROOTED" lol little 1 inch clones. They're not the only dispensary in flint having consumer complaints. They don't even test their stuff.

Man, You posted before I did.

I took the lot to a friend on the other side of the tracks I've known for years. Without telling her what the dispensary offered, she told me she also pays 200, and that she makes a hundred or so herself. She explained that she had to compete with the guys down the road (pointing at a house), and that it was running for 10 a gram. Right about then, her boy showed up, she re-upped, and I got a gram of OG Kush on the spot for 10. The same quality as the dispensary, but cheaper, and untraceable, another word for safer.

IOW, the system isn't working. I'm not going to visit, nor would I in good conscience recommend a person going to brick and mortar knowing this.

It is exactly as I said it would be above, "When dealers charge so much and pay so little, growers keep the good shit for themselves. This causes the market to suffer, the overall quality to go down, the Black Market to flourish, and it keeps patients from getting access to the best medicines."

It's the historical plight of the farmer brother, field to market. Once this schedule I/criminalized prohibition game passes and those lawyers disappear, corporations will move in with the taxman/regulators and their lawyers/accountants. It seems this country no longer produces, but rather attempts to sell services on the far end for an ever increasing percentage :(

I'd be interested to hear how it goes if ya try this place out. It's just over the border (but in the D) from Oakland so ppl head there w some bucks. have heard in the past that they were good ppl and will compensate slightly above average for top shelf.

this family has been through a lot being on the front lines of mmj. search: sal agro

Not selling, overages. That's not illegal. I have the legal right to be compensated for my time and effort, not to experience a financial loss in order to bring medicine to the market. At 175 I'm doing it at a loss.

By the way, fuck you. We made this happen for people like you by doing time, paying fines, pissing in cups, making court dates, losing our children, our nations constitution, and watching helplessly as the police break in and kill our pets, and you want to be all aloof because of some poorly constructed joke of a law.

PISS OFF!!!!!!!!!

First of all, if you're losing money selling your meds for $175 an ounce then you're doing something WAYYYYYY wrong. It shouldn't cost you more than $25-$50 an ounce of actual costs (not including labor) and even that is on the high side.

Second, every grower thinks their shit is the bomb. A++++++++. If you truly have great meds you will be offered $200 an ounce. You may be able to get a smidge more, but that's not the norm. If that isn't to your liking then you need to find a farmers market, or sell it on the streets. No other options that I'm aware of.

And lastly, coming here looking for help and then shitting all over one of the more respected/active members of this forum and community is not a good way to go about things.

I haven't found any dispensary that pays more then 150 per zip, I have never sold to one because of that. 175 wouldn't work either, don't blame you.

The owner's name is Bob and he's straight gate all the way. They have Orange crush and he's always out of it. Someone comes in and buys all of it as soon as they get it! Pisses me off lol He won't let me get a clone either because it's there best seller, I understand but it sucks because it's one of the best pain relievers Ive tried other than Fat Purple.

She runs hers at 345$

Still don't see why I should more than double my offer, I'm handing her 120 a jar just to set it on the shelf.

She fucked up. She opened a business to make herself some money. The whole point then, is to make money. She could have made money, but for her own foolishness, ended up losing money instead. Not only does she not get the 500+ a month in business, assuming the zips she's growing are costing 30 as suggested, but she has lost the free 120$ a jar for years to come. Not a whole lot, but a little bit steady in her pocket and in mine.

I'll make and save more this way.

Don't they kinda have people signing away their sec 8 rights, when in the care giver attestation, they have you vouch you won't hold over the 2.5?
