I just recently bought a new product called white wash from my local hydro store, they gave me a 50% discount because i was there first customer to try it. "i have to tell them how it works ofcourse." I am using it on my cucumber plants for the white fuzzy mold that seems to want to grow on everything. ugh.
i am on my 2nd day using the product, which i must say that my plants look super clean but there is still a pressence of mold. the bottle says 3-5 days for a full cleanse. so i will keep you posted as to how it works.....
the only concern that i do have with the product is it says that it is water inhanced with some kind of frequence. i cant help but think that i somehow got ripped off?!?!? but, we will see!

Water enhanced? Some kind of frequency? Sounds like bs. I've grown cukes. They get a powdery mildew. It's a fungus. And you need to spray the leaves upper and lower leaf surfaces before they become infected. There is no cure only prevention. Can you tell me the name of the product so I can look it up?

I use a fungicide. Start spraying before the PM shows and you'll be covered. Like for instance Black Spot on roses I use Funginex. The list of diseases the product prevents is listed on the package. Fungicides come in liquids and powders. A copper based fungicide works for a lot of diseases too. I just buy the cheapest stuff I can get.

eagle 20, spray once and be done. That freq wash and other stuff are only temporary solutions.

Ive been told by multiple people that eagle 20 has cancerous properties in it and as it says on the label DO NOT spray on fruiting plants.

i also wanted to tell u about worm castings tea sprays that help prevent PM...here's some info from an old thread i wrote:
Castings tea is great for introducing more beneficial organisms to our soil and as a foliar spray. But here's some info on using tea sprays to prevent powdery mildew on roses and ostensibly any other leaf that is prone to the disease. A c+p and the link to the whole article. Also a youtube vid if you want to make it yourself.

Castings Teas suppress disease and pests on vegetation and will boost the crucial microbial activity known as the Soil Food Web (SFW) which is so crucial to organic soils. Perhaps the most widely used and known use of teas is to suppress/eliminate black spot and powdery mildew on roses. By spraying Castings Tea on the surface of leaves, you are doing two things. First, you coat the leaf with millions if not billions of microbes all competing for a food source. Some, for instance protozoa, eat bacteria which may be eating decaying plant material. Others eat other microbes and their wastes. In the end, there are not enough resources for the harmful molds and fungi to flourish. In addition, you are also coating the leaf with a protective surface that protects the leaf cells from attack by foreign spores or airborne microbes. Finally, by inoculating the soil with Castings Tea, microbes break down nutrients for uptake into plants thereby increasing plant health and the plant’s own disease resistance/suppression.

I wouldn't spray it on anything that isn't in veg, But it kicked a pm problem i had in the ass. Used it once years ago and have never seen pm again.
