How are these ladies looking to you experienced folk? They are white widow, in an undercurrent system. Res is a little warm at 7.5*F. Thanks for your time!photo (10).JPG photo (11).JPG photo (12).JPG photo (13).JPG photo (14).JPG

They are looking a little brittle, as well as wilty, temps reach mid eighties when shut over night, any suggestions, or ideas what this might be? Photos with the HPS off are posted below.

2) Growing indoor
3) UNdercurrent DWC, eight hundred gallon per hour pump
4) Growing Medium - hydroton and red lava rock
5) What stage of growth - vegetative, AN 3 part nutrients six hundred ppm. 5.9 pH

I'm not DWC, but I can tell you have some issues.

I would bet your PH is off, or your not feeding them enough.

They show signs of cal, mag, phos, and I think N deficiencies. This is either from to low ppm or ph being off and your plant can't uptake certain nutrients.

What are night time temps? The stems to your fan leaves shouldn't be purple, I think that's either too cold temps at night or phos deficiency-I could be wrong though :/

I would ask a DWC guy. I know alot but I don't have experience with DWC, don't want to point you in the wrong direction.

i know your resevior is too hot though! Get that down below 68. How you do that in DWC, I do not know.

I run coco in an automated DTW. I just had to convert a cooler into my resevior. I refill my resevior every 4 days, the temp of my solution is about 65-70degrees when I put it in but I also put in a half gallon jug I filled with water and froze. This brings the temp down to about 60 and it keeps it below 65 for 4-5days.

Just using it until the store I go to gets hydroton back in stock, should be fine though, it is an inert medium. pH seems to be stable.

395ppm is a bit low. Your plants look great, but would green up and grow a bit faster if you upped it to 800ppm.

I agree with squidbilly that it's slightly deficient in just about everything. After raising the ppm, you should also see the stems and petioles turn a yellowish green.

DWC is where I have the most experience. 75F res temp isn't going to cause these symptoms.

Aloha Haze, thank you for your time. When I woke up this morning I saw your post and uped the rez ppm to 835. I also added some veganic cal-mag to the mix. Any other suggestions at this point or is it a waiting game for them to perk back up. Mahalo nui loa once again.
