How much can i harvest 400w 4x3 sq ft scrog method?

I plan on using a 4x3 sq ft area with 400w hps with walls all polyed using the scrog method to flower and harvest two chemdog plants and wanted to get an idea on how much i can potentially harvest due to anyone's past experience in a small closet grow. Thank you for your time

with one 400 w hps you'd be a lil shy on lumens, i'd say you'd be happy to get 250-280 grams. But depending on skill level, maybe closer to 200g. I'd go with a 600w to get denser nugs.

Based on the assumption that you're a beginner, I'd say you should be happy to get around 100-150 grams in that amount of space.

If everything goes great and conditions and strain are optimal then 14oz/400gram is feasible. More realistic is 3/4 of that. For a beginner take off another quarter. So aim for 10oz but count on as low as 7oz.

With a proper hood and good reflection and optimal temps a 400watt on 3x4' is doable.

Not as much as you'd get with a 600w. If it's a possibility, it's worth running a 600w instead. You may be disappointed with a 400w in anything larger than a 3x3 at most.

I am doing my first run with chemdog only few more weeks left.. Looking good and I run a 400W light in 5x5 tent right now until I get better fans, putt my 1K light back in but my buds look really good IMO but I did have the 1K light in for first few weeks of flowering...Two plants I am looking at like 3-6 oz is my guess not bad for my first grow I think

I just cut trimmed and manicured 18.7 oz wet off my 400w grow scrog 4x3 still have a few branches left

How much? It wouldn't matter if your room was 100x100 you're limitation is your 400 watt light. You are only going to get so much light penetration and "how much" you get is up to you.
If it were me I would go for "how good" instead of "how much".

Being able to produce premium cannabis in a closet will give you "more" than having a giant pile of shitty cannabis. Quality wins over quantity every time. Less is more. And so on...

I agree west denver i got my 18.9 oz slow curing right now 66 degrees 38% humidity and air movers. but i did dry out a separate 18g in the slow oven dry method. LMAO yeah yeah i know but i ran out so i did my own.. Results OMFG as good as it gets better than any top shelf green solutions stuff i got in denver

If I'm in a hurry I just put a few nugs on the windowsill and let the Denver air dry it like a dehydrator. Sort of like cooling an apple pie.

It's a reference. Say one harvest you weighed at chop and it was 100oz. After drying it was 40oz.
Then next harvest(assuming your ran same strain and set up) you weighed it wet and it was roughly 90oz then after drying it was 50oz. You can conclude that the second time your nugs were denser, and you'll have some evidence to prove it other then the look and feel.

Most important thing is helping others on this forum. Not bash for our methods. I achieved my first ever grow and frankly my peers who have been doing this for decades said holy shit not only potent but dank as all hell. Damn I'm stoned. Lmao my lil flower here oh so potent few seeds but who gives a flying fuck cuz I'm flying.

Ok, I must have it all wrong. So what you are saying is "denser nugs" have less water? I was thinking all this time they had less air by volume or just tighter flowers. (I never tried weighing the air )
What part of the plant has less water in that case?

I do understand doing stuff that makes you feel good. Just don't pass it off as some sorta science until I have had a few joints in me.
