I heard today that its good to smoke weed with your plants
I mean like take a hit and blow it out on your plant
apparently it gets your plant high too or some shit....I dunno
maybe its just another stoner myth
whats the whole low down on this idea?!

well i don.tknow about getting them high but i would think it would but carbon dioxide in the air but i don't think the smoke would be good for them but not real sure

Smoke clogs the pores that your plants use to breath thru. In nature rain cleans these off. I forget the technical name right now. So smoke is a no no in the grow room.

i like to smoke in sight of my babies but i don't blow at them directly, for the same reason mogie stated, i had to clean an apartment after a heavily smoking tenent left, literally everything in the house was coated with a layer of residue. it was really nasty, and i wouldn't want that to happen to my plants.

the tars from the smoke may clog the stomata on the underside of the leaves...they need the stoma to breathe....

exactly; smoke causes the stomata to close; for up to 24 hours! no tranpiration means no growth.

don't smoke in the same room as your plants.

now, if you have been doing so, and would like to help get things back on track, you can add potassium supplements. k encourages the actions of the stomata and respiration/transpiration.
