My animals seem to hate the smell of weed . . . the dogs make a face when I offer them a smell. I think perhaps nature has dictated that only a few insects, and man, enjoy this plant. In 40 years, never had any pest issues other than mites.
However, deer, elk, antelope, etc . . . they're a grows enemies and will make your plant(s) disappear overnight! No wonder they tend to sleep all day?

yea i dont think u have to worry about ur crops and a cat cuz what is a cat gonna do to ur plant? i know my cat Gobbles will rub up against my plants but thats about it lol no worries

.... could always create a pit of cobras around the plant! good idea ty might have to try this 1!

can you please tell that to my cat is it has a tendency to bring them home to show and tell ,along with fucking rats and other little cute things, it has murdered ,touble is two of the snakes were still alive and very pissed off being left at my back door. p.s also does not fuck with my plants , nor does my bull mastiff that keeps other cats and most living creatures away , as far as birds they may shit on them ???. or you could buy a pet falcon or something that would solve the bird probem ,and maybe the cats , or i will rent my dog , it hates most things that move.
