so guys if there are any experts hangin tonight, i was just wondering if when i put my seedlings into the soil, can i use some root growth hormone to intensify root growth? i know its proper use is for "cuttings" but i thought it might work for a seedling also since its not a heavy chem. hope someone is readin tonight

no no no no no no no................just put the germinated seed in the soil and dont give it anything but water for the first 4 weeks.....the hormone is likely to burn a seedling.....

i would suggest putting the germed seed in a peat moss pellet then put the peat moss pellet in the dirt and cover the dirt up around it also i think the dirt helps keep the peat moss more moist then if u were to leave ur seedling in the peat moss pellet its self.

i have peat moss in a bag....i dont have pellets, is it different?

you can get peat moss pellets at home depot and yes they are different they have a biodegradeable netting to hold the peat moss together and you have to had water to the peat moss and wait like 10 15 mins untill the peat moss pellet rises to an inch to a inch in a half and put them in 16 oz plastic cups and lets the plants get big for like 3 weeks or when u think they r ready to b transplanted into a bigger pot or ground. the peat moss pellets make it alot easier for transplanting
