Chicken fence

I see a lot of people using chicken fence around their plants (2' or 3' circles) ,my qwestion is do you leave it the whole grow and pull the branches through the holes?or do you remove once the plant has outgrown its cage? thanks

Chicken wire is used to keep critters out. Deer mostly. Eliminate the threat from cannabis loving herbivores and you can get rid of the chicken wire.
