ok so when i read that a strain is a 7-8 wk flowering from what date do i count from to get my aprox harvest date.

Those numbers may be for inside/light grows ....If outside, its longer...I harvest in Sept-Oct....start in may...

Depends on the strain & how long they veg. Those times tell you how long they take to ripen once they start to bud.

well how about this,
how long does it take to harvest of you force flower outdoor...??

this is what ive been hearing and this is going to be my first attempt next week
im going to bring my plant in my 5:30- 6ish and put in in the closet and take it out again when it gets dark. ill do this for about 6-8weeks...

It doesn't matter if you force them to start flowering or let nature start them flowering, it still depends on the strain on how long they take to get ripe once they start to bud.

you can start counting when the lights are 12 hours of darkness a day.Indoor or out start counting when it is 12 hours of dark!

has anyone smoked premature bud 6 weeks in?
i wonder if its decent smoke?
sadly i only hasve 6 weeks to flower because my parents will come back from vacation..
my plant is an indica, they flower faster that sativa...

Growing must be different in Ca. than Mi. They start 14.5/9.5 - early aug. in the midwest & are close to ripe by oct. If they didn't start to bud till 12/12 - early oct.- i'd have to bring a snow shovel to harvest!
