I've started two Sour Diesel seeds so far, I have six more which I will eventually get going. They're both in generic top soil in small planters sitting in a nice sunny spot. I'm starting these at my home, then moving them to a different location. These pictures are from a week in. Pointers are appreciated. This is my first grow, so I'm inexperienced.

Two weeks in. Changed the one to a smaller pot because it didn't need that much water at this stage. Two of the smaller leaves of the one plant on the side however are a little yellow. I didn't add nutrients or anything, I've only given them water. I have the feeling that something was eating the one though.

What's the news selt92? They should be fine, but if you were to use a better soil like Supersoil or FoxFarms brand you wouldn't need any ferts until a month in.

I wouldn't use top soil...you need a good potting soil at the least...not the 1.99 stuff...the 6.99 one..I don't know what available in your area but Foxfarm ocean forest (?) is a popular soil..I can't find it...bummer...try to get as close to a neutral ph soil as possible..the nurserys are the best bet for that if you don't know of a specific brand......Grow you bastards.....now your set..

Yeah, I've heard a lot about Foxfarm through reading other threads. Don't think it's something I can get though. I'm not in the states. Not really something I'd want to order online either. Sorry about lower quality pictures. They're on my cell phone and that's the only camera I got. They seem to be growing pretty good in the soil I got, so I'm gonna wait it out. I've seen a few backyard dirt grows in my day, so I don't think I'm too bad off.

That one looks a little stretched you might wanna make sure its getting at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. Also it is better to underwater than over water.

They're both a little stretched. They started off in a bad location, but now I've got them in a really sunny one, but they are still stretched from before.

put more soil in the pots, they are stretched like that because the soil line is too low. Get some organic soil thats guaranteed not to burn that has worm castings, unsteamed bat guano, perlite, and peat moss at least. hopefully it has more but not too much more, I recommend to typically stay away from Miracle Gro, as I have seen way too many people having trouble with it. You could go steal some soil from a farm row and test its ph if your broke or something... put a flourescent light about six inches above them until the stocks strengthen up a bit and there is a couple of set of leaves.... hope that helps anyways... no nutes for two weeks, and the coloration: its probably too hot for them, you could put them in a place thats shaded slightly in the afternoons, or put a screen above them...
