NEWB grower and I am thinking about making a medium sized outdoor garden(about 1, im in nor cal. I have good hookups for fertilizers and everything because my friend works at a hydro shop. I plan starting indoor soon from some clones, maybe og kush or sour diesal or ak47 or anything that will yield hella and mature fast so cops and theifs dont got more time to find them, ( i heard ak-47 is 6 weeks), i will need to get the clones soon, thinking about planting at the end of this month/early april, The dirt here is very solid and rocky, so im thinking i will need to import soil. I also plan on filling 2 liters with piss and human hair and put them near plants for deer along with chicken wire. my main problem is water, it gets very hot here in summer and doesnt rain for months so i will need to water it alot, how often do you think ill have to water it? and how much water will it take? I was thinking of getting some barrels and filling it up with water with a small hole at the bottom, so it contstantly keeps the area moist so i wont have to water them as much. does this sound like it might work? comments and suggestions

ull have to water every 3 days some times more just stick ur finger in the soil and see if its wet or use a hydro meter. and the barrell idea wont work i think because the plants will get over watered and the soil will turn to mud.

For the water ur gonna have to monitor for a couple of days.This is so u cud see when the plant needs water so u cud have the day after the first watering. So then u wont have to go everyday just on the day u it needed it when monitoring.
