I amnot sure I understand the question.. BUt if it is a choice betwen container and straight into the GROUND... straigtinto the ground is always better for total yield. Growingin containers does have tremendous benifits. For startes, you can move your plants.

Preparing the soil is always a good IDEA!

the mobility almost sounds like the way to go i was thinking of 5 gal buckets

Can you go bigger.. like 8 or 13 gallon buckets?

what kind of flushing schedule would i use would it be the same as an indoor grow?

There is no set in stone flushing schedule for outdoor plant but generally growers flush their plants a week to two weeks before harvest.

i flush my indoor plants during veg, once a month then complete flush b-4 flowering than every 2 wks during flowering. even though my plants will be outside i would think salt build-up from ferts will still be there

If you are concerned about being able to move your plants don't go bigger then 5 gallons. Bigger then that and they are too heavy to move unless you have help or are superman.

Im not that familiar with indoor growing techniques since i only grow outdoor, however i know that flushing your plants can cause stress, you dont ever see symptoms of stress (specifically slow growth) after flushing your plants that much?
