Question for yah...

I bought some expensive Fox Farms Soil and I have enough for about 9 plants. The problem is I have sixteen babies and I have no idea what sex any of them are. They range from 2-6 sets of leaves and are between 3-7 inches tall. Can I put them on a 12/12 light cycle indoors and wait for hairs to pop op and then quick kill the males and put only the ladies back outside and let them return to veg???

Has anyone else sexed plants this way???

yeah, people do it all the time......... only issue is that you risk having them go hermie from the the stress, only way to combat that would be to take a clone from each and flower those.

I guess I'll wait then...I want seedless chronic...Are there any statistics out there that show what percentage of females are turned hermie by doing this???

i don't have any idea....i would just clone them and do it that way......you can throw the clones straight to 12/12 cause you wont be keeping them, only finding out the sex of the mother.

If they were bigger you could use the bag over a branch method,but clones are your best option for that size because hermies are so easy to bring on when you yank around the light cycle.

My biggest one is only 6 inches tall and its probably around thirty days... Am I doing something wrong...

How small is too small to clone? (# of Leaf Sets? Inches Tall?)
I will be brand new to cloning so can someone give me a link to a how to clone guide or something?
