Hello people,

I just bought some universal soil here in France and on the back of the bag it says that the soil contains enough nutrients to not have to feed the plant for 6-8 weeks but i thought that one was supposed to start feeding the plant after the first 3 weeks or so?

Should I follow what the bag says or what the guides say?

Also the PH of this soil is of 6 which seems to be too acidic knowing that after feeding the plant the soil gets even more acidic meaning that the Ph would be of about 5.3 in about a month which is really too low.
Isn't it?

The NPK value of this soil is 14-16-18.
Is this about right?

it's got plenty of fertilizer...unfortunately it's chemical. it'll work, but would you raise your child in a quickie mart or a health food store? next time, do yourself a favor...NOTHING tastes as good as organic!
