The soil here sucks, when I plant in the ground I need to excavate the clay and rocks out first and then backfil with good shit. Well, I had a bucket of the horrid soil and rocks and though I would put a seedling in there for fun. I have only given it water and even then, barely any. Looks healthy to me!

You are right, it is young. Actually, it is older than that and other plants in good soil are doing much better. I just threw this up here for those growers who have only seeds sun and water. It can be done, but if you can make it better, than why not?

Yes it can be done but won't last growing good like that for long. It juts doesn't have enough nutes in the soil or whatever you would call that.

when i dig my outdoor holes i usually put in organic soil mixed about 1/2 with the dirt from the hole ,, & put some 24-6-12 time release nutes about 7 inches down in the hole ,, so by the time the roots get down that far in teh soil they are strong enough to take the nutes ,, this way i never have to visit my site until i feed them bloom nutes ,,,,,, UNLESS we have a dry spell then i will swing thru & give em some h2o
